I’ve failed her once, I can’t fail her again. As for Austin, It seems he has fallen off the surface of the earth. His Helicopter could not be traced or found anywhere in this city. You would think that he has magically disappeared into thin air. Some said he has left the city and that he is hiding out in the Bratva headquarters. But I know better than to believe that, I know that dude, he never backs down from a fight and I’m sure he won’t give up so easily. Besides, there is no way he would run back to his fellow comrades at the Bratva headquarters. He is no longer worthy to be called a Bratva captain because he has defaulted to their rules and regulation.

Chapter five The car halted at the front of the warehouse, a bouncer came out of the car and open the door for his boss to come out Austin Hernandez came out, as good-looking as he is, with those flawless muscles, those perfect lips, and a seductive body He has a demon in him, it's no little monster, the monster is bigger than anyone could imagine He looks furious and angered, for the past three days he has been trying to capture the mule…he always knows that there has always been a burro among his men

Quickly, he pulled me in for a tight hug and I felt something in me sag in relief knowing that he didn’t hate me. Just as quickly as he held me, he let go, squeezing my shoulders, “Get back safe.” I nodded in response and began my treacherous journey back into the tunnel, hoping I wasn’t too late, both for my sake and for Austin’s. I hadn’t been too late. Austin made a full recovery, seeming even stronger than before. “You’re a mystery and a miracle wrapped up in one.” Austin smiled proudly.

The nineteen-year-old girl continued happily. Austin pinched the girl's chubby cheeks before him and exclaimed, "You're so cute!" In his eyes, the girl was incredibly adorable. "Hurt Uncle, uh, I'm leaving first. You'll be mad if I'm late. Goodbye Daddy Austin." Hazel kissed him goodbye. Hazel thought of others too positively. She didn't think the person who wanted to bump into her was a kidnapper. What's more, Austin himself is already thirty-one years old. It's extraordinary that this mature man is still familiar with him, who is only nineteen years old.

After dropping Marybeth and Orlando off, Austin went for his morning jog and ran twice as long, pushing himself until he thought he couldn't possibly go any further. When he returned to the penthouse, he was surprised to find his capos waiting for him. "When did you get here?" he asked, taking off his sweaty hoodie and t-shirt. "Two hours ago," said Angelo. "Tough day at the office?" Tim asked. "You never run more than ten kilometres." Austin ignored his banter and grabbed a bottle of still water from the fridge. He gulped it down in one go, crushing the plastic bottle in his hand when he was done.

I can smell it–the fear, the pain. And I can’t do anything about it. “Chessie!” I shout, jumping to my feet as the darkness swells behind her. Onyx arms reach for her, for us, and she stretches her arm out to me, and I– Austin steps between us and the shadow, still in his human form but battered, his Ghost armor hanging in strips from his shoulders. Chessie launches into my arms, knocking me backward, but my eyes are locked on Austin standing like an immoveable force–a shield between me and certain death.

Why does it seem to be a problem to everyone? "I bought an omega, got her pregnant, big deal." Austin shook his head while putting out his cigarette. He's a big guy too, anyone would be afraid of him. He also has tattoos running all over his arms and neck and you wouldn't see him without a cigarette. He loves to smoke a lot. With Austin, he wanted a mate no matter the gender or the title. He told me all the time that he would accept that person since it was the work of the goddess to pair them together. I've never thought about things like that and I sure as shit won't be starting right now.

Valerie: Steam curled from the marble tub, fogging the mirrors and softening the edges of the room. The scent of sandalwood drifted through the air, one of his, not mine. At this point I didn't even have it in me to try and choose the scent. I sat inside the tub, watching as Xavier poured in more soap to the hot water. His sleeves were rolled up, the veins in his forearms catching the light. For once, there was no command in his movements, no arrogance. Just silence. He ran his finger over my cheek, right where there was a scratch. The Rogues have left their mark. But then again, of course they did.

Austin started giggling uncontrollably. "Alright thank you for being honest with me. Most adults, including mama and daddy, think I am too young to understand how the world works, but I am not. I think I am going to call you Mama Emma for now. I think I can sleep now. Oh, and Mama Emma thank you for all the new toys, and for the milk and cookies." Austin jumped down from his chair, came over and gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek before heading off to bed. I reminded him to make sure he brushed his teeth. I was kind of liking being a mother figure. And I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked Austin calling me Mama Emma.

“Did you actually just climb up a tree and through my window?” “Yep.” “Why?” Austin placed his hands flat either side of me and leaned forward, the tip of his nose barely touching mine. “Because I wanted to come see you.” I raised an eyebrow, not moving. “Mhmm.” “So since this whole thing is secret I thought I’d pull some ninja moves. I always wanted to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, y’know.” He leaned forward, pressing his lips to mine, and I smiled at his touch.
