Author Julie Johnson Novels & Stories

“I am really tired and…” “Are you good?” She sounded tired and did not look like herself. Julia’s words must have really gotten to her. “Yes. I just need to get some rest.” She stepped away and I decided to follow behind her. “Levi,” Theo called out to me in a loud tone. “Come over here.” Vianne walked up the stairs and I stared blankly at her. I sighed and joined Theo in the living room. “Sit.” He pointed to one of the chairs. “Julia is back in the city and is now a college counselor. I invited her here so you could guide you.”

Julia’s knees buckled like I’d stabbed her straight through her spine. “You didn’t just take a silhouette here and a seamline there. You lifted entire collections, entire concept maps, entire pattern blocks. Every ‘genius idea’ attached to your brand name for the past… how many years, Julia, seven, eight?” My smile stretched wider. “They came from my private archive vault.” Dead silence. You could hear someone’s pin drop across the hall. Then, the hall exploded like an ant colony set on fire. “What? Julia is the owner of JK Couture?!”

“You can have her after I do.” After we arrived, I took the briefcase and went to Julia's door. I knocked and she opened, a smile on her face. “Wasn't thinking you would come by yourself…” she said. I gave her the briefcase, “Now I really want to know who Julian is cheating with.” “Her name is…” Julia said, building up suspense. “Martinez Brown.”

she begged. Mj rolled her eyes and let out a bored frustrated breath “Julie, I asked you a question,”she continued with a calm and cold voice. Mj relaxed her hand just enough to allow air to pump through John's throat and Julie seemed to exhale with him. She looked up at Mj and had tears threatening the cusp of her eyes “No, I don't know, we weren't there, please!” Julie begged.

But then would that ever work out? Upon reaching her apartment, Julia wasted no time in settling down. She made her way to her designated spot, where her laptop eagerly awaited her return. Opening it with a sense of purpose to go through her work, her eyes fell upon the document that had been the cause of Kelvin's unexpected call. It lay there, a tangible reminder of her responsibilities and the bridge between her professional and personal life.

But she still answered carefully, "Yes, we went shopping." Scott nodded. "Did Annabelle want to buy something, but in the end, she didn’t get it?" Julissa was quite surprised. "Mr. Nichols, how did you know?" "Answer my question first." After speaking, he looked up at her. Julissa was wearing a formal outfit today: a white blazer with an A-line skirt, nude tights, and black high heels. Her long legs, likely due to her years of dance training, were slim and straight, and her posture was impeccable. Her long hair was pulled up into a neat bun, exposing her graceful neck. Simple stud earrings adorned her ears, giving her a vibrant and capable appearance.

"This dress is a killer! You’re going to blow cousin’s mind." Julia popped her head from where she was rummaging through the racks. “Uhhuh.” She gave me a thumbs up. “Blow. His. Mind.” After loading me with more clothes and cosmetics at Josh's request, Lori wished me a good day and—accompanied by a commiserative expression—good luck at the dinner, and left. Julia flopped back on the sofa, surrounded by the mess of unnecessary stuff she snatched from Lori. “Holy shit, you’re with Josh Nelson, bitch!”

A soft knock came at the door. “Can I come in?” she asked. I rushed to open it. The door swung open, and there she was—Julia. She was pretty. From her features, I could tell she was Asian-American. She had a soft, welcoming smile, her sleek hair pulled back. She wore a corporate dress and looked about my age. “Hi! I’m sorry about earlier,” I smiled, apologizing for brushing her off before. “Oh no, Ma, no need to apologize. Mr. Rogers told me you weren’t informed about my appointment. My name is Julia Chen, and I’ll be your personal assistant.”

John's POV I can't seem to stop thinking about Julia while I wait for her. I had previously considered her to be fantastic. She is, in my opinion, a wonderful person. To be honest, I felt embarrassed while I was with her since it felt like there was some type of electricity in her twinkling eyes that I couldn't explain. I also managed to forget about Kate's pain once I was around her as if I hadn't just gone through a painful break-up. I adjusted myself as I looked at the door and saw Julia come out and approach me "I apologize for keeping you waiting. So, how about we get started?" She was kind, and it was clear that she was looking forward to our trip.

TYBERIAS' POV (tie-beer-ius) "What have you got?" "Juliana Hernandez: 22 years old, has a 2year old sister, works at Café Rouge, both parents are still alive however her father is unemployed and her mother hasn't visited them in a couple years." "Okay. You can go now." I said to Adams before he scurried off out of my office. I punched the bridge of my nose as I sighed deeply. Ever since I saw Juliana last night, I haven't been able to get her out of my head since and I fùcking hated it.
