I have always enjoyed living in Chance. It was a typical small town but it was where I had decided to spend my life. Things had not always been that way. I had made plans, lifelong plans, with a beautiful redhead. We met on our very first day of kindergarten. I can still remember her looking so shy sitting at a table all by herself. She had on a green dress that matched her big beautiful eyes. I had promised to sit with my friend Seth but I couldn’t stop myself from sitting down next to her. After that day we were inseparable. We may have started out as friends but it became so much more. I had asked her to marry me and run away together. That was the plan until she disappeared after graduat

Bridget’s voice, crisp and impatient, broke the air as she glanced at her maid climbing toward her room. “Ma’am, I’ve found a new driver! The agency says he’s top-rated, and his resume is really impressive!” Manang Karen announced, her excitement palpable. She waved the paper like it was a trophy, clearly proud of her discovery. Despite her occasional scatterbrained moments, Karen had her reliable streaks.

Karen immediately threw a pillow at him. “Shut up.” He dodged it barely. “You people are attacking me in my own peaceful environment.” “You came here willingly,” I reminded him. “That was my first mistake.” Karen grinned proudly afterward before placing down her final card dramatically. “I win.” Adrian narrowed his eyes suspiciously. “You definitely cheated.” “But did I win?” “…Unfortunately.” She gasped loudly and jumped up happily. “I defeated an Alpha and his adviser!” “You defeated nobody fairly,” Adrian muttered. I laughed quietly while Karen celebrated dramatically around the room like she had just conquered an entire kingdom.

Kelly looked at Stephen held out her hand "Nice to meet you Mr Anderson. I'm sorry for your loss. I have read about your brothers case in the paper. I believe there are no leads in his case" "Thank you Doctor Michaels sadly no new leads about Michaels case this is a difficult time." Before Stephen could continue any further a roar was heard. "YOU!!!!"

Then a beautiful girl entered the classroom and sat beside him. " Hi! I'm Hailey." She said in a parky voice and smiled looking at him. " I'm Parth." He said and gave his hand for handshake. " Is it your first class today? Because, i didn't see you yesterday." Parth said. "Yeah,i didn't come yesterday." Hailey replied. " I am very nervous today because i have heard that seniors of this college are very dangerous.Is it so? She said curiously coupled with fear. " Who gave you wrong information? It's not true at all. They are very friendly and helpful." Parth said.

He gulped the bourbon in just one swig. Laura obliged, simpering as the burning alcohol hit her throat. "Cheers." She slurred, and her head started to spin round and round and round. --- K stood frozen opposite the bed. It was as if she was sucked into a vacuum. Anxiety eclipsed her thoughts while a nameless dread engulfed and flooded her being. She was... a product of rape.

But today, in this formal setting, she seemed transformed. Karen's demeanour exuded a sense of authority and sophistication. Her movements were graceful and deliberate, indicating a woman accustomed to being in control. Her clear, direct gaze and the slight smile that played on her lips conveyed a mixture of warmth and professionalism. Rachna found herself captivated by Karen's charisma, a magnetic quality that drew people to her.

Controlled and Dangerous. She smoothed her blouse once more, her reflection smiling back at her. “Let’s see how strong Avery Sinclair really is,” she murmured. And somewhere deep down, excitement stirred, not just for victory, but for the chaos that would follow.

Karen thought. What he said was true. If all this time, Karen was seen as a perfect person. Her face is not as beautiful as Josephine's, who is like a live barbie doll. But Karen has a more intelligent brain and also a better performance. Her only academic competitor at the time was her fiancé Jason. The two are seen as a pair of geniuses and are predicted to give birth to a generation of geniuses. One day, an embarrassing incident happened, and Karen's heart was torn apart.

Standing in front of the door was a petite dark dark-haired woman with wide hips and if we hadn't gotten closer, I would have said she was his mate but that wasn't the case. Especially when I saw the same striking grey eyes she shared with the leader. “I am Luke and this is my sister Carolyn” Carolyn smiled politely at us. But it was nothing like her brother’s warm smile. Behind her smile was the mind of a very calculative woman that knew when someone threatened her. Her gaze locked onto me making it very clear that she was aware that we were threats and she wouldn't mind scratching out our eyes. “Nice to meet you” I said and she nodded at me.
