Rejecting Mr Alpha

Rejecting Mr Alpha

Alpha Aidan explained as Archer and I joined the group of people huddled around the desk, whilst Darren hurriedly flipped through. “Here it is! The Tale of The Flesh Eaters, written by Arthur Bartley. It is said that Arthur saw these creatures one day which inspired the book.” Darren explained with a smile standing back so we all could see the story he was very proud to find, I mean this was only further validating the claims he’s been making.

One Night Stand With The Unforgettable Stranger

One Night Stand With The Unforgettable Stranger

“I don’t know,” she said. “Do you like to read? I blog about books, specifically horror and thriller books.” “Like Stephen King?” She nodded. “Stephen King, Dean Koontz, David W. Wright, Sean Platt, and, ah, Dan Wells.” He nodded slowly as she listed her favorite authors. “What about A. A. Abernathy?” Fuck! “You read Abernathy?” “Yeah, I just picked up the latest one. It’s pretty good so far.”

“…the lady in the shadows…the one who watches you and wants you dead…” As the little girl's words from her vision swept over her,Beth felt a sense of terrifying unease. It was a coincidence, she told herself, nothing more.It was impossible that the little girl and Marcus could be speaking of the same thing,it was just impossible! “The lady in the shadows?”she said, her hands trembling in fear. In her mind she saw herself lying cold and frozen in that casket.

Still In Love With You

she says pointing towards the display near us. My eyes went wide as I see the books beautifully displayed. I quickly grabbed one and glanced through the pages. "0h, you are definitely coming home with me sweet thing," I said smiling making Seli chuckle. "Next." the girl called, allowing the next set of girls to move forward towards the tables. I was finally able to see the auth0rs in front of me. I saw the red hair girl that is amazing writing horror stories, a few other romance writers, but then...

This is a long story and there is a prequel to it. Then there is apparently a third book coming out. This book and series take commitment by the reader but it's cute. I wish the author would take the time to proof read the book to make it easier to read and flow better but still recommend it.

The Phantom Butcher (Shadow Crawlers Book 1)

The Phantom Butcher (Shadow Crawlers Book 1)

Logan puffed his chest in pride, and Asher laughed at his best friend’s antics. He remembered Ronan Leon, a man with a habit of kidnapping teenage girls with blonde hair and hazel eyes. He tortured, raped and then sliced his victims. He had killed at least eleven before the Shadow Crawlers ended him for good. Ronan was a human and Asher wondered how much worse a human could be when compared to the supernaturals to commonly coined as monsters. “Alright, stop whining like a puppy and I will take it.” Asher climbed into the driver’s seat.

The Final Cut

The Final Cut

After two days of high temperatures and intense boredom, he remembered the three books. Sam pulled out the one with the Mummy on the cover, because it looked the most innocuous. It was entitled the Ninth Pan Book of Horror Stories. He wasn’t the least bit prepared for what he found inside. The first three stories involved emasculation, murder and burning at the stake. In his fevered state Sam felt he was not only watching the characters’ suffering, he was experiencing it along with them. He flung the book at the wall and then hid it again, wishing he could burn it like Jinnot, the young girl in the third story who was burned alive.

Things You Need

Those books were older than any of the others in his office. The bottom shelf (the one he’d been searching when he’d first heard the cats playing in the hall) held his collection of horror anthologies. The famed Whispers series, edited by Stuart David Schiff, featuring the varied works of Ramsey Campbell, Stephen King, Charles Grant and so many others. The Mammoth Book of Best New Horror from England. The Shivers series, published by Cemetery Dance. Masques, Borderlands, Shadows, Stalkers, Dark Forces, October Dreams I & II, Corpse Blossoms, Horror Library Volumes 1-5, and Prime Evil. Classic horror anthologies jammed next to paperback collections of slightly lesser repute with titles to mat

I grinned. Rina snorted. “I’m a little annoyed by people trying to turn classic literature into horror shit.” Kimi and I looked at her in surprise. “So, you prefer pure horror?” I asked. Rina rolled her eyes. “Have you met your sister? She’s all about the jump scares and psychological thrillers.” I wrinkled my nose. “So is your brother. I’m not going to lie, Blood and Chocolate and Warm Bodies were a compromise. As was Shaun of the Dead.”
