my mother said, voice shaking. I spoke, the words uncoiling from my tongue as if they had been waiting for centuries to be spoken again. “I, Lena Weber, bloodline of Guardians, scion of Thorne, Keeper of the Bound Seal, accept the inheritance of the Vault. I accept the darkness. I accept the duty. I accept the burden.” A boom echoed across the valley, so loud it felt like the sky itself might split open. But it wasn’t the Seal shattering. It was activating.

Along with that was a check with a terrifyingly large figure, assets like yachts, antiques, calligraphy, paintings, real estate, and business dividends—altogether adding up to an astronomical sum. And it was presented mercilessly on the page. “One billion dollars!” I was stunned by the figure and quickly tried to reject it. "Trevor, I can't accept this!" I said firmly. Trevor shook his head. "This is your mom’s inheritance. My father kept it for her for many years. It should rightfully go to you," he insisted. I was left speechless. To be honest, if anyone else were in my shoes, they’d be excited by such a fortune.

Chapter 1: Prologue Talon and Avalyn thought they could stay happily ever after but the gods had a different plan. Twelve years after the birth of their children, war suddenly broke out between the humans and the werewolves. Talon's family broke apart. Each member dispersed to a corner of the earth unknown to the others. An enemy stronger than they had ever anticipated was at play. The humans captured Avalyn through trickery and overthrew the Lycans. Talon went missing.

I closed my eyes and when I opened them I saw the wind, water, earth, fire, dark and light balls surrounding me. "You did it princess!" Dad said. I'm so happy. Finally! Underworld I will get you again. I will bring everything back to what it is before. I am Aliyah Savannah Bloodstone, daughter of Drake Javier and Athena Evangeline Bloodstone. Lycans wait for your downfall.

“All of it.” He looked at her carefully. “You may not like it.” “I don’t care.” He ran a hand through his hair. “The Aragon legacy isn’t just ancient, it’s cursed. Every generation, someone dies young. Assassinations, accidents, disappearances. Your mother faked her death to break the pattern. But it didn’t work. It just passed to you. And now… to Stephanie.” Valeria stared at him, chilled. “Are you saying my daughter is cursed?”

“You’ve got the wrong person.” “No, sir.” The reply was immediate. Ethan exhaled sharply, pacing a few steps. “This is ridiculous.” “Sir,” Victor continued, “you are the only surviving heir of the Cross lineage.” Ethan froze. The words didn’t immediately register. He turned his head slightly, as if trying to process what he had just heard. “…Heir?” A short, disbelieving laugh escaped him. “Yeah, right.” But there was no humor in it. Only exhaustion.

The moment Ava saw them, her fingers tightened against the door handle as she stepped out, quickly shutting it behind her. Her heart pounded. “What do you want?” she asked, forcing her voice to stay steady. Lucien’s jaw tightened. “Where exactly is Liora in New York?” “New York?” Ava repeated, confusion flickering across her face. “Yes,” Anderson stepped in. “We found something. Liora… and the heiress of Starlight Enterprise look almost identical. It’s leading us to believe that she might actually be Liora.” Ava swallowed hard as Liora's words echoed:

No pressure. “They are coming here,” Inferno continued. “To Lake Tahoe.” That caused chaos. Lysander swore under his breath, pacing. Selene clutched Esme’s arm. Lucien straightened like he was preparing for combat. Even Koa, unshakable Koa, blinked like the world had tilted. I lifted a hand instinctively, the same way I soothed the shadows after training. “Everyone, breathe.” Inferno continued over them, his voice deepening. "A vampire lord older than empires. A witch cast out of the French Quarter for forbidden power. A rogue warrior from the Alaskan wastes. And more.” Alejandro’s body turned in a slow circle, eyes burning with ancient foresight.

Ravan said and lightly pecked Reva’s lip before leaving to get his one last work done for shabbier sheikh. on same day in late evening when Ravan was busy in between completing shabbier task he received an extremely disturbed call from Julia maa because of which Ravan abruptly headed back to his mansion which he had named as ‘Reva and Ravan Mansion’, where upon reaching back to his mansion in his hall room saw his Julia maa and Roma crying hard, seeing which he was little stunned however upon questioning Julia maa reason for her whimper she simply pointed her finger towards his sofa where something was covered in white sheet which had blood stains on it, Ravan quickly walked towards his sofa

“You know it’s not that simple, not to mention this legacy my mother’s always going on about.” “What’s the point of being king of Lycans and werewolves if you can’t do what’s best for us?” Frost countered, his tone turning serious. “Tell me, what’s more important: that legacy or your happiness?” Frost eased up on the teasing, speaking more earnestly. He and Andriel were one; if Andriel’s human side perished, Frost would too, and that was something he wasn’t willing to let happen.
