Greetings to all my wonderful readers! As you've likely noticed, I have actual artwork of my characters for the cover of my book now. This was a commission I paid for from a very dear artist friend by the name of Rydi on DeviantART also known as lucia-garcia on ArtCorgi. We've known each other for a long time now, and I was super happy she gave me permission to use the old commissions in this way, so if you like her style, feel free to check her out.

It was a good thing I wasn’t seen, otherwise Auth couldn’t have written it off since I don’t exactly fit the theme of the book. The monster is from my friend Demon’s book, though I think he is called Daemon now; he would be pissed if I got it wrong. I don’t think Auth gave a title to his book yet, but she knows she wants to turn it into a comic which will probably never happen since she can’t draw and she procrastinates with everything. Plus, it took her three tries to figure out the right book for him. Auth actually created his character first along with his cafe, or was it a bakery back then? He likely still owns a cafe in this rendition, as despite the mismatch with his character, I can’t

Then, quietly grumbling to himself, he gets to his feet with haste and urgency. I watch him delve into a corner of the room, rifling through a small shelf of books hidden until then, until he finds a particular book, his eyes lighting up. He rushes back to us, placing the dusty old book on the table. The cover, crafted from animal skin, resembles one I own. He flips through the pages, stopping at one and revealing a drawing of a young woman with a wide, vibrant smile that radiates pride and joy untouched by the world. The artist has done their best with limited resources, clearly depicting her beautiful emerald green eyes, soft pink lips, and majestic chestnut brown hair.

Arthur asked seriously. “You declared Chloe your mate long ago. Why would you ask for her? Even if she is not your mate, it doesn’t matter, isn’t it?” Rah wondered. “Still!” Arthur grumbled. “I know for sure you are not reading this,” Rah picked up a book titled ‘Mates – the telltale signs’ and showed it to Arthur “just for fun!”. The cover of the book depicted a hand-drawn picture of two wolves lying on top of each other. “Why did they not show humans?” Rah wondered out loud, also staring at the cover. “I mean, wolves also have human side.”

“Sleep well, Cello.” The child sighed contentedly, his body relaxing again. Ava started to rise, careful not to make a sound—then felt something hard near his pillow. Curious, she lifted the corner of his blanket and froze. A large, hard-covered book lay half-open beneath it. She slid it out gently. On the cover, a smiling cartoon man waved from a field of clouds. Above him were the words in bold, cheerful print: My Daddy. Ava’s heart skipped. It was a children’s picture book — one she remembered from the bookstore. The shop assistant had recommended it, and Cello had turned up his nose immediately, declaring, “Childish.”

"Mr Philip sent me to give this to you." "Thanks." I collected the book to inspect the front cover, while he showed off some dimples. The book had a raccoon as it's display photo. The raccoon looked thrilled to bits with both hands up and mouth open like it was shouting. The background was yellow, it had the words, 'furiosly happy' boldly written on it. Under the book title, there were word too that said, 'a funny book about terrible things' written in smaller font, while the author's name was Jenny Lawson.

A hint of mischief touched the corner of his mouth. "Oh yes." He turned without another explanation, leading them away from the towering histories and meticulously organised records, disappearing between another maze of shelves. "I'll show you my favourites." “unlucky contestants…shelf two, book thirteen.” It sounded oddly like a personal note. My curiosity won out and I skimmed my fingers along the spines of the books until I chose one at random. I pulled out a medium-sized book, a deep shade of navy blue. Earthen twine was wrapped around the book, and there was a picture on the front. A middle-aged man with chocolate hair and dark eyes smiled up at me. The cover of the book read, “Arthur Zimmerman, Game 71.

Leslie said. "Come in, come in, I'll introduce you to my favorite paintings," Arthur said as he led them further into the showroom. He introduced them to his finest works yet and then stopped at one. "And this one over here is called 'Binding Nature'. A beauty, isn't she?" he asked, referring to the realistic painting of a man made of tree branches who desperately clings to a huge tree, even though it seemed like he was being pulled away from it. It had wonderful shades of yellow, blue, and green, and Leslie found herself immersed in the painting. It spoke of so much passion and dedication. "This is so avant-garde, Arthur," she said.
