No thoughts or emotions touching me as I sat. "I didn't expect you to get up today." A soft male voice said. My eyes fluttered slightly, looking up at the figure as I forced myself to focus. The blue eyes were watching me, as I stared up at him, marking every detail on him. Now that I looked him over he had sharp blue eyes with what would probably be eyeliner in the human world. His hair was short and choppy, matching his tan complexion. "I never introduced myself properly." His hand came into view, offering to help me up. "The names Apophis." His hand was soft as I took it, pulling me to my feet with ease, hesitating, I softly asked, "are you a demon lord too...?"

“Have you thought of one yet?” “Orli Opal.” Zara sounds happy, but she’s not able to hide the fatigue in her voice. “Orli means ‘my light’. Opal is a type of amorphous, hydrated silica. It’s called a mineraloid because it doesn’t have a crystalline structure like other minerals.” I smile at Zara’s scientific description of an opal and back at our little girl. “I love it. It’s perfect for her.” “Keller, what happened today with that she-wolf who tried to get me to go with her, that’s only going to get worse the closer Estelle and I get to releasing a cure that works.” Zara leans her head against my shoulder.

“I had this custom made.” Her breath was caught as her mouth opened and shut but nothing came out. With shaking hands, Ivory took the box from me and opened it. It was a three karat Opal stone shaped in an oval. It sat on a skinny platinum band. “Oh my.” “It reminds me of your eyes when you use your powers. All those colors yet still so white.” “This is so beautiful.” I watched a stray tear fall down her face. Before her hands could drop it. I took the ring out of the box and placed it on her finger. I had to guess the size and I think I got it right. Ivory held her hand out for her to see. The moon light reflected off it nicely.

Dylan suddenly questions. What the hell is Voca de Oracle? Dylan must have seen the confusion on my face, “It’s a call to summon a deity’s power on to them, but they can only use it once. Second applicant, Mr. Maxwell Mcdenna, age:21, also studied computer and single too" she finishes as I listened attentively. "Okay.. Cool. Call them for an interview tomorrow by ten, okay? " she nods and leaves. Ava's POV I had wounds from the chain, and it was really aching me.

We had forgotten we asked her to join for a second. And while, i pressed to leave. Diane turned me— “There’s a mute button. Like what else is there?” And it was she, who sounded like a millennial now. - These were two groups of people on opposite sides of the world, about to be whooped together by fate and trauma. "The Supermen." Dennis placed his right hand on the top of his desk and immediately, a green light ran through the glass and his palm. Opening it, Megan discovered that it was a collection of detailed information on Jay, Adolf and Kei: their physiological stats, power description and stats, even their medical history. Everything had been documented in details.

I ask, placing my hands over Alden’s to help him calm down. “Well you won’t have to worry about the eyti that were following you, they’re toast now, but I’ll scan the area and look for more. I’m sure I’m bound to find some, but in the meantime,” she says, reaching behind her and throwing a large pouch at Alden, which he catches. “Scatter those around the borders of your territory, that will help keep your pack safe.” Alden reaches into the pouch and pulls out a beautiful opal; its iridescent colours catching the light of the moon. “Opals?” He inquires.
