Blood on the Asphalt biker

Blood on the Asphalt biker

The iridescent blue aura of the sub-ether wrapped around my hand, humming with the raw, chaotic energy of the Origin-Code. The Avatar's crimson visor snapped toward us. One of its massive arms raised a plasma-broadsword to cut us out of the sky. Too late. We collided with the chest plate. Dax kicked the bike sideways, using the heavy iron chassis to absorb the kinetic impact against the golden armor. At the exact moment of impact, I drove my phased, glowing blue hand directly into the center of the Founder’s chest cavity. The Phase-Shield ignored the golden durasteel completely. My hand passed through the physical armor like it was mist, plunging deep into the dark, cybernetic heart of the m

My Heat and the Three Alphas

My Heat and the Three Alphas

I sank to my knees on the floor as the three of them came to stand before me. My head still fuzzy, half-hoping this was nothing more than a dream, a question slipped out of me. "Who are you?" My eyes moved through the three of them. "I am Xander." Said the Alpha with the dark blonde hair. Then he pointed to the black haired Alpha. "This is Cyrus." And lastly to the silver haired. "And this is Lucious." I had never heard these names within the pack. As though they had read my mind, he continued.

Marked From Birth

Marked From Birth

"There is only the Debt." The return to the Citadel was not a race; it was a funeral procession. Wherever the steam-sleds traveled, a wake of grey rot followed in Audrey’s path. The "Perfect" forest died as she passed, the sapphire glass shattering into dust. The Avatar was waiting at the gates of the Citadel. She had grown to thirty feet tall, her limbs now massive crystalline boughs. She looked at Audrey and screamed—a sound of pure, celestial static. "YOU BRING THE VOID INTO THE GARDEN!" the Avatar roared.

Miria exhaled softly, but worried once more when she saw the little kitten climbing the thug and resuming its ‘battle’ with the the man’s clothes. The world came back to Jai. Trip Series 3: A Trip To Remember

Trip Series 3: A Trip To Remember

He was so childish in a playful way and took a lot of pictures, some were the usual pose while most were his made face that made me laugh hard. He even tried to make his eyes big so he could have the same big eyes as Woody and Buzz Lightyear. I shook my head and took several shots with his Samsung ZFlip while he posed with them. "Come on, Zhanaia. That's enough. We can do a selfie!" I chuckled and shook my head, "Nooo, I'm not as childish as you." He playfully rolled his eyes and pulled me, put in between Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and him, so I look really small. Then I heard the camera's shutter sound.

Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

" She spoke with sincerity, her big, pleading eyes sparkling. I sighed inwardly. She was a great wingwoman for Arnold. Hana hesitated, and I smiled and said, "Go ahead. The new version of Avatar is excellent." "Let's go." Arnold didn't hesitate and grabbed Hana's hand. "You’re safe here. Don’t worry." Hana was led helplessly away by Arnold while Ava escorted them from behind. As I watched them leave, I fell into contemplation. It seemed that Hana’s story wasn't as simple as she claimed. She hadn’t told me the whole truth.

It was a good book. A lot of the mixup/changes in names/locations was very annoying. Wish we would have gotten a little more out of the ending of one of the main villains. Chapters also needed to be longer; a lot of money spent on this book for 5-6 pages per chapter.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

Tango With Three Vampires

Tango With Three Vampires

“She is light, her smile could brighten anyone's mood, her bubbly personality brings the lightest energy and her eyes are comparable to the bluest part of the ocean. I love how her hand feels in mine, how she looks at me as if she trusts me with her life.” I don't deserve that trust, not yet. The poor girl is bleeding and I can't be there to comfort her as she is in pain. “She sounds like quite the catch.” The woman smiled. “How does the dynamic work?” She asked as she sip her drink. “Dynamic?” I repeated with wide eyes, not understanding what she meant. “Yes, the three….” She looked around, lowering her voice. “Vampires with a human girl.” She said, I choked on the drink, coughing up the al

Three Days to Ash

Three Days to Ash

The Grand Elder's voice came through the vow, heavy with sorrow and gravity. "The audio is authentic. There are no signs of fabrication or tampering." "Furthermore, we found a large quantity of vervain in Isabella's room." Those words struck Damien like a bolt of lightning, completely shattering his last shred of hope. The mighty Prince of the Kindred, for the first time, felt as if he could barely breathe. Seraphina… his Vow-mate… had been enduring immense suffering. And he had been helping the real perpetrator. The three of them frantically recalled Isabella's many suspicious actions.

I am the dragon III

I am the dragon III

Felix said. “Yeah but just the other way around,” I said. “Why?” “Because I’m dragonkin, I thought you were the smart one,” I said as he tried to slap me again. “I am the smart one,” he said as his phone started vibrating again. “What’s going on with you anyway?” I asked him. “Ava and I had a fight before we left,” he said. We’d been gone for three days already, watching Oliver Carnegie and making sure for ourselves that he was in fact worthless enough to die. Megan didn’t give me half the shit that Ava gave Felix when we left and we’d done on average one assignment a month.
