My trembling hand skimmed over the brown old pages, the light provided by the small flashlight shakily dancing over the book, my slightly labored breathing being the only sound reaching my ears as I sat hidden behind the huge chair, hurriedly skipping over the words. "...a fallen angel is a wicked or rebellious angel that has been cast out of Heaven...” “For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into Hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until judgment...”

' I was buzzing, but not in the same way as any high I'd ever experienced. 'Fuck, Ethan,' I whispered. 'What the Hell is this thing they've got locked up in there?' “Wait here, reception has a package for me.” Serenity nodded as Noah left the apartment, locking the door behind him and she sighed. She’d never been one to sit still and she climbed to her feet, going to the bookshelf. Prying yet another tome off the shelf, she went back to the sofa and sat down, opening it. God should be furious. During those seconds when no conversation seemed worthy of being started, I noticed that Miguel was deliberately avoiding looking into my eyes. Now he was looking at the marks on his hands, certainly remembering the horrors of his punishment.

He thought he heard the sound of the door opened and closed again but paid no heed to it as he took another sip of his drink with his eyes closed. Then perfume scents wafted in the air around him and he felt a feminine hand tug gently on his arm and made him lie on her soft chest. He tried to look up to see who she was but he couldn't make out her face as the room was darkened, his blurred sight not helping and she started murmuring light words of comfort as she loosened the buttons on his shirt. Too tired to care who the lady was and what she was doing, he resigned himself to his fate, imaging the woman to be His Angel but with a small thought at the back of his mind that her scent was not

Abu sighed and frowned at Evangeline, “Yes, Evangeline, because I was the one who gave that mirror to him, I cannot let you die here in the human world after killing that vampire… Evangeline… the Archangel will be sad if he would not be going to see you before you die… I didn’t want to see you die after killing the vampire, but you have to do it… give him your blood, and all of this will be over...’’ “Abu, please don’t tell my father… just give me time…’’ Blake heard her say. “Evangeline, give you time? You already remembered who you are… the promise you made... what is pulling you back… are you afraid to die? Did you just change your mind?” Blake couldn’t move, all parts of his body got num
