When the scent of lemon and blueberry cake wafts in the air and I turn to see her walk out of the packhouse, I look behind her and don’t see Alpha Slimeball. “Dahlia!” Harrison shouts, waving at her. She turns and smiles at him and makes her way over to us. “Hey, buddy. Did you have fun?” she asks as she sits next to him and he climbs up onto her lap and leans his head against her chest. I give her a sheepish look, a silent apology and she shakes her head in an it’s ok motion. “Yeah, it was so fun. Can we do it again another day?” he asks, and I smile at him as she chuckles.

I tried to console him, “Hey, hey. Calm down, okay? It’s alright. We can always go back to the temple and get you another one.” “No! The doll and I are connected! I can feel what happens to it!” “Connected?” I cleared my throat, “Just because you’re handsome doesn’t mean I’ll believe everything that comes out of your mouth, dude.” “No! You don’t get it! I can actually feel everything that’s done to the doll!” I smiled and calmed myself before replying, “I told you the doll was weird, didn’t I? So, what happened to it?” “I gave it away. I gave it to one of the more handsome ones when we were at the park yesterday.”

AZALEA I make my way down the corridor towards the Alpha King's quarters. I'm excited to see what he's gotten me. I quickly arrive at the room, and even though it is heavily protected, the guards let me in. When I walk in, the room is dark, but after groping around in the darkness, I find the light switch and turn it on. The room lights up, and that’s when I see it—a red box on the king-sized bed. I approach the box and pick it up, excitedly biting my bottom lip. I eagerly unwrap the red wrapper until only a tiny black velvet box remains. I carefully open it, and my heart leaps at the sight of a stunning ruby necklace.

Seeing that he wasn’t saying a word, they left the room to give him some space. “What is it, Son?” Charles motioned Azazel to sit in the chair before him. Azazel fumbled with his fingers. His anxiety was crippling at times. He closed his eyes and remembered her breathtaking smile. He slowly opened his eyes. “I want a doll, dad,” Azazel blurted out, stunning Charles. “A doll?” Charles’s expression marred confusion and distaste for Azazel’s words. “Yes, dad, a doll. Not any ordinary doll. A doll with purple eyes, dark hair, and a beautiful smile” Azazel remembered every single feature of her face.

Azalea's POV It was a brilliant sunny morning, one of those rare days when the sky looked immense and my heart hinted at hope. Lara and I had turned my room upside down, rifling through every dress, every touch of fabric in search of something perfect. I’d just told her about Ace showing up at my door, unannounced, helped assemble the baby playset, and left flowers. She dropped a sunflower yellow dress onto the bed, her eyes wide. "Oh my goodness, he did all that?" Her voice was full of both awe and skepticism.

Azalea was our mother’s best friend who lives with her family on the other side of the village. I stand and walk toward Mercy as she carefully unravels the fabric, revealing a long dress made of woven white and cream wool. It has long, loose sleeves that taper at the wrists which are trimmed in white ermine fur. The off-the-shoulder neckline is trimmed in the same soft fur and decorated with pearls and moonstone beading that makes it look like raindrops are clinging to the fur. It has a high slit on the side. I run my fingers over the fur trim along the slit, smiling to myself. “So she could still dance?”

Azalea said again, as she stood in front of Ayden to help him button his clothes the right way it should be. "I am really hurt, Azalea. Can you not even support your own master?" he pouted, and then suddenly dragged his unaware maid closer to him, in such a way that there was barely an inch between them. Ayden could stare closely into her dark blue eyes that had a fleek of even a much darker blue, which formed like bright crystals inside. He had never really noticed how unique her eyes looked, until he had looked at her up close. Even her nose were......

"What's wrong dear? Why are you crying?" Asked Aerial worried coming to her. Loathefiya was looking at the pretty doll on her hands. It had golden hairs shining with the room's light along white silky threads. Wearing a dark blue dress with black crystal buttons, Red ribbon around her belt and pink bows all over her dress. A sky blue shoes with blue clips on it. Chubby pink cheeks with rosy lips, smile wide in the shop, this doll stares at all, inviting the kids to play with all.

Meadow swiftly proposed, "Azalea, why didn't you tell me about it in advance? I would be able to lend you a helping hand in ordering a tailor-made dress for you. This plan is out of the window as there is no time left. However, there is always a way out and I can arrange this matter accordingly. Do have faith in me as I will prepare the perfect dress and accessories for you!" "But... Don't you think that this is rather far-fetched? This does not cost a dime!" Azalea had called her with this purpose in mind. She felt relieved when Meadow had decided to help her out. However, she needed to be humble by pretending to refuse Meadow's idea.
