TWO DIFFERENT WORLDS
John examined me with an arched eyebrow and a modest mocking smile molded itself on his lips, causing me to laugh instantly.
"Okay, not all of them," I stressed, "just the vast majority." I fixed and it was John's turn to laugh, negating with his head in amusement.
"What exactly happened?" he questioned curiously.
"From what I understand, the babysitter got distracted and the little girl ran off to play. Kid stuff, you know?" He nodded.
"I found her and took her back, the rest you must have seen."
"You have a magnet for confusion, don't you?" John questioned jokingly, causing me to chuckle singly.
