Hazel doesn’t like comics because they are mostly sexually explicit and all sexual scenes are arranged. We both barely have a thing in common; if we were a couple, then red flags would be all that could be seen. I began reading this comic book, Demoralized Plaything. It was quite interesting, but it ended quicker than I expected. Just when I was about to begin on Jinx, a maid came in. "Miss Maddy." She called, alerting me. I slowly raised my head up from my phone to see her gazing at me with a soft smile on her face.

I kept his eyes off my mind, refusing to look at the man’s face, refusing to let him see the cold, hard rage hiding behind Luna’s mask. Outside, Mateo walked calmly into the main floor of Club Máscara. He had driven his Audi sports coupe through the narrow streets of Madrid, but his demeanor remained entirely composed. He hadn't bothered to put on the velvet mask provided at the entrance. He walked in with his bare face exposed, his sharp jawline relaxed, and his dark eyes observing the room with a quiet, patient focus.

They only believed Rita's side of the story. I forced a smile. "Mamma, Papa, I didn't come here to argue." Mamma finally looked up at me with a wary gaze. "Then, why are you here?" "To give you a gift." I pulled a folder from my jacket pocket and handed it to Papa. "I'm transferring the Brynley casino, the smuggling route at the port, and my shares in Jesselyn's three nightclubs to Rita." The doctors and nurses immediately disappeared from sight. Papa stared at the folder, as if he suspected it might explode.

We get out of the house and the security guards just watch as she pulls me to the little red car, "Get in." I do. I don’t have a purse or even my phone, but I guess I can trust her... right? She wouldnt drive me to the middle of nowhere and leave me stranded there. At least I don’t think. Madison drives like a deranged person and turns on the music to sing and ignore me for ten minutes. She's insane. But I kind of like her songs and I almost want to sing too, but i'm a little intimidated. We arrive to a very pretty coffee shop named Beehive, with an even bigger bookstore next to it.

If she did, there was no way in hell that man will continue breathing. “You look bad,” Mad said as he slapped my back and handed me a can of beer. “I haven’t been sleeping.” The answer left me without any hesitation and I frowned down at the cold beer can in my hand. Am I getting drunk by just holding it? Instead of making a snide remark that he does most of the time, Mad took a seat beside me and said, “Want to talk about it?”

She cleared her throat to try to gain some courage, she did not know why she was suddenly shy. “Well, my morning was interesting. As I said earlier your pack is beautiful and everything seems to be in place. We just visited some cafés and did a little window shopping. We were to head to the pack for lunch, I mean, we forgot about the deal for a moment. So that is that, we should continue from there I guess.” Madison said to Alpha King Caden who listened to her. “Alright, that seems fun. I have a question for you, do you like to read?” alpha King Caden asked Madison and she nodded her head. Reading was an escape for her, and she reads almost anything she can get her hands on.

That was quite enough. “No brawling,” Madge chided as she used a bissel to sweep the tattered carpet a few tables away. “Don’t make me call the bouncer.” She hooked her thumb over at the old homeless man sucking on a cup of coffee. He looked up and grinned, two teeth total in his mouth, eyebrows shooting up to a bald pate and creased, greasy hand waving. The girls laughed and Laura settled back down in place. “You are such an asshole.” “But you love me.”
