I tried to sit up, but my movements were sluggish, like a marionette with tangled strings.
As my eyes adjusted to the faint light, I realized I was in a cavernous space, surrounded by colossal obsidian pillars that jutted out from the ground. The air was heavy with an otherworldly chill, and a palpable sense of foreboding hung in the atmosphere.
