Emlyn gulped uneasily as he tried his best to calm down the raging fear in his mind. Luckily for them, for some reason, the monster was no longer facing them but opposite with its back filled with wriggling limbs before them. It was quite disturbing but much better than the maggot-covered, huge-sized face that had been facing them.

What self-proclaimed fan of horror doesn’t have those two in their top 10? “Honestly… ‘IT’ was my best.” My jaw drops instantly. “No fucking way. That’s no one’s best, especially the second part.” “Actually, I preferred the second part to the first.” He shrugs his shoulder casually. I clutch my chest in pain while watching him casually spit the most controversial shit in the entire history of horror, like it’s nothing. “You’re a psychopath.” I say, dramatically turning my head away from him. He chuckles loudly, holding his chest for a brief moment while settling right beside me, in between the mesh of blankets.

No one except the man. The lights flickered. Static buzzed in the bulbs. Electricity crackled. The carriage was plunged into darkness, just a split second of impenetrable black that filled my mouth, my nose, my ears, like thick, dank water, choking me, drowning me. When the lights exploded back into life, I saw it. A sheen of silvery skin on the man's cheek, harsh white reflecting off scarred flesh. It was a brief flicker of a bad dream. A touch of a nightmare; there and then gone again so quickly that I had to blink away the haze, but I knew I'd seen it, I'd seen him .

Jason muttered under his breath but I chose to act like I didn't hear him. Sameer walks to us after parking the car. He looks over at Harsh mumbles "Hi" and Harsh nods at him in acknowledgment. I can see the cold air between them. "So what movie are we going to watch?" Sameer asked breaking the silence. "Conjuring 2" replies Harsh. "What?" Ryan shouted and then laughs looking at my already pale face. I didn't think Harsh will chose a horror movie. I should have warned him. "What's wrong?" Dia asked with knitted eyebrows.

They habour more and greater rage. Seems his rage with every passing second heightens. How in the world do I escape and get off his bondage?. Shivering, I slowly and gradually stare up his face. They're reddened and blaze more. Equally red as a human blood. I gasp then return my gaze to the floor. This really is bad. This is fucking bad. Am really, really, really done. No f**king two ways about it. How can one be highly cute but this scary?.

The horror of their words clawed at my sanity. Distant voices clawed at the edges of my mind, their words searing into my consciousness... There's no record of him anywhere, the ghost doesn't exist!" "Now, you'll watch as your child bleeds out, right before your eyes."

____________________ I wake up to the sound of guttural screams. My eyes snap open, and I shoot up from the couch. Havier, already on his feet, meets my gaze, his eyes etched with worry. A sense of foreboding tightens my chest. With brisk steps, I pull the curtain aside, peering down over the street. A gasp escapes my lips, and my heart hammers against my ribs. The sentinels who guarded the apartment lay lifeless, their bodies sprawled on the pavement. My breath catches as I take in the chilling details. Their bodies are discarded like broken toys in a child's tantrum. The ruthlessness of their murder paints a vivid horror into my memory.
