This one, an Australian Dingo—her name’s Wild.” I pause, pointing to the last dog. “This one is a Rottweiler, her name’s Elizabeth.” “What?!” Spitfire swiftly jerks up her head to look at me. When she sees the smug look on my face, she curses underneath her breath, “dammit.” I have no idea why, but teasing her gives so much joy. And energy. “Her name’s Sky.”

Jack eyes him up and down, “Six—what? six four? six five? Two hundred ten pounds? Sound about right?” The Horned God nods. “What name do you want?” “In the past, I have been called, ‘Fearadhaigh’.” All four of us sit silent. “You want to spell that, please?” My father spells the name. “It means father of fairies.” “Uh-huh,” Jack nods, unimpressed. “It’ll do for a surname. Anything else—you know, polite—you’ve been called?” “Finn’s mother called me Warren—her protector.”

“Good, I don't have any intentions of stopping them if the need arises. Tell me their names and also which of them is the strongest?” Roland blew his whistle for the dogs to return back to him and they did in a minute. He pointed his finger to the German shepherd, “This is Red,” he pointed to one of the pitbulls. “That's Bruno and the other is Rogue Rax..” he smiled. “RR for short..” “The strongest?” Ava inquired. “That would be Red. She's agile, alert and protective while RR comes second. He has a sharp bite force. I learnt he bit someone months back and left the person's hand less useful..”

I complained. I sat on a hay bale and it slumped down in front of me, allowing me to stroke its fur. It was such an enormous dog. I wondered if its owners knew that it had wandered off. I couldn’t see a collar around its neck. Maybe it was a stray dog? “I’ve been thinking of a name for you. How about, Princess?” I suggested. The dog huffed through its nose and its entire body shuddered. “You don’t like that, huh? Oh, okay. Well, how about Misty? No. What about Luna? Jeez, what about Angel? Daisy? Aurora? Really? But she’s my favorite princess. You don’t prefer any of those names?” I asked.

I felt my lips purse and my brows furrow and my eyes twitch slightly. Dammit! What just happened helped pushed away thoughts and voice of Maxwell douchebag Mckenzie. Yeah, it did helped. A whole damn lot. I stand up and dust invisible dirt of my shorts. "You can keep the job," I pause. "And Ivanono?" Rolling my eyes, I raise my hands up for emphasis. “That would make sense….” “Right, I neglected to introduce myself. I am Jason. I am the lead trainer and breeder here at this site.” Jason introduced himself. “I didn’t introduce myself either. It is nice to meet you, Jason. I am Ismene-Eirene. I think that this one is the one for me. Am I allowed to name him?” I asked. “He will become your dog, Miss. So, by all means, name him. Best to have him start getting used to it now.” Jason answered.

The moon goddess or whatever she is chose wrong for once in her miserable life. "What is your name dog?" I hummed. "Peter." Interesting. Not. Such a common boring name. "And what pack are you from Peter?" I asked, feigning being any bit of interested in the mutt. "Crystal River pack." He answered not even caring that he was giving me important information. I raised my brows in shock as my gaze swept over to Malia who stared at Peter silently. Maybe the stupid bitch moon goddess did know what she was doing. She was making this easier for me to kill off her stupid mutts.

“Kalen, I need your help with this man. You need to help me guide her and her wolf. Wait, what’s her wolf’s name?” There is an overwhelming amount of work ahead of me. “Her name is Morrigan”. “Wait, how do you know that? Morrigan? What sort of name is that?”. I am so lost right now. “Liam, are you aware that we wolves can talk without you involved?” he chuckles. “Apparently she goes by Mor or Morg more often. She seems pretty badass actually, very protective of your luna”. Well that makes me like her more.
