"Is this a fucking joke?" I yell at Cole softly as soon as we step out of Arabella's room.
"Language. She's sleeping," Cole replies just as softly, though a smile tugs at his lips. I punch him lightly in the arm, making him chuckle.
“What are you up to?” I ask, exasperated, as he leads me through the gigantic house.
"We can sleep in my childhood bedroom. If it makes you feel better, I've never brought a woman here," he says, opening the door to a room that screams teenage boy—posters, guitars on the wall, but spotlessly clean as if frozen in time.
