Bailey's pov I had successfully avoided Kaleb for the first half of the day and tried my best to act normal in Mira's presence. Things would've been easier if I had not opened my legs for her brother. "We need to get him back." Mira grumble and she slammed her locker close with a bit more force than necessary. My brows wrinkle, my eyes drifting over to her. "Get who back?" Mira rolled her eyes and turned around to plaster her back to the locker. "The boogeyman."

Kael looked toward Mira, who stood at the edge of the camp studying the sky. “Do you trust her?” he asked. Luna followed his gaze. “I don’t know yet.” “She just appeared out of nowhere.” Kael nodded. “Exactly.” Before Luna could respond, Mira walked toward them. Her silver hair moved gently in the wind, and the glowing symbols on her arms shimmered faintly. “You’re worried,” she said softly. Luna raised an eyebrow. “You can read minds too?” Mira shook her head. “No. But I can read the moons.”

She quickly rechecked before going on the offensive. " Need to be more careful, I guess... " she smirked as she told herself. Mira noticed something odd about their attacks. Odd but similar. They were shooting fire from their bodies, very much like how Mira was able to, back at the cave when Braze was in danger . " Who are you? What do you want? " She yelled on top of her voice, moving fast, to make sure they could not harm Xen. Mira leaped around Xen, carefully dodging what they shot but she slipped. She slipped because she was worried about Xen. His body was in a state of convulsion.

Just as she left, Mira came out of her hiding, she walked towards the well, and with a grin plastered on her face, she kicked the bucket and the contents fell, she made sure she threw the fetcher inside the well before she felt fulfilled of her mission. “Hmmm, done. Let's see if she will come out of this,” she mumbled and dusted her palms off the sand. Then she turned and walked away, feeling victorious. She has always had a bad aura for Aurora, working for the queen, and Xena makes things easy for her. Now, she wants to find the masked girl before anyone does. She raised her shoulder, feeling on top of the world, as she strolled back inside the palace. 🥦🥦🥦🥦

“If I have to repeat myself, we already failed!” No one answered back. Good. They were finally listening, or finally afraid. I wasn’t sure which one I preferred. Mira passed behind me, a bag slung over her shoulder, weapons clinking softly inside. She didn’t look panicked, that’s what I liked about her. Mira didn’t panic. Mira calculated. And with mira it makes things less scarier. “That’s the last of it,” she said, tightening the strap. “Wolfsbane, silver blades, tracking dust… everything we could carry without slowing us down.”

Mira looked sympathetically at me. “You must have somebody stronger than they are,” she said. I frowned. “Is that even possible?” She did not respond on the spot. Rather, she was tapping her fingers on the table as though she was thinking. Then she said, “There may be one person.” I lifted my head. “Who?” Mira hesitated for a second. “Lucian Silverfang.” The name meant nothing to me. “Who is that?” I asked. Mira threw back her chair.

THIRD PERSON'S POV:- Mira swung her sword and Sierra tightened her hold around her katana. As Marsha knew well that she was no match for Mira, she decided to keep her target towards her womb to kill the child. Aiming for her belly, Marsha stood up and tried to stab Mira's belly with her sword. The pendant in her neck shined brightly. It blinded Marsha and Mira was able to punch Marsha's belly hard. Marsha went flying towards the wall on the other side of the hall.

Becka shouted “Hope you’re okay my queen” her personal guard asked “I am not okay, Amira is back. Why?
