Chapter 36 Foxy’s POV I’m no longer Sam. I feel it so clearly as we walk to the table where Alpha Blair and my old friend Micki are waiting. Sam would never betray Micki by hooking up with her fiancé behind her back. Shit. What was I thinking? I didn’t know that was for sure. And, of course, the Alpha didn’t resist me either. If not, he welcomed my advances. I’m Foxy, and that will never change. I won’t dwell on the past anymore. I will continue my journey to my independence, but I need to be wise regarding what the Alpha can do for me. I need my wolves. It doesn’t matter how great Ace is; he can’t make me completely whole. I need more.

Bambi was a little unsettled to accept her hand but she fell for it and Susanna took her to sit on a couch. “I’m just going to make sure you don’t try anything funny while we talk. It will be wrong for this simple conversation to turn bloody.” Susanna conversed with Bambi so causal that Bambi wonders if this woman was born with any conscience in her. “Why do you need me to distract the guards, I am just a nurse employed to watch after Miss Cherry.” Bambi tells her.

Jacob, the future Beta, hopped the fence and stood at the driveway’s edge, eyes fixed on the bag in the jeep’s trunk. His brows lifted, a smirk tugging at his mouth as he observed the girl. Luke wasn't wrong about her scent last night. Her scent was enticing for unmated male lycans. No surprise, Luke, an Alpha blood, could smell her even in the huge crowd. That would explain Damon's reaction, too. She was Bambi for Alpha lycans, alright. There was no mistaking it, she was a dangerous Alpha's mate, her body would have reacted with all the Alpha bloods in the room, but that was all the more reason to avoid her.

"Well that, and one time I made the mistake of shooting a deer after Fallon saw Bambi for the first time." I burst out laughing. He joined in just as the girls walked in. "Something funny?" Fallon asked, nervously tucking her hair behind her ear. "Your dad shot Bambi," I pointed out, then turned to her dad. "How long did she cry?" "Days," her mom interrupted and took a step toward us. "Sorry for not shaking your hand, but I was trying to cook." I shook her hand. "And were you successful?" "No." She rolled her eyes. "I burned the chicken. Again."

Kent said, trying to look as serious as possible. Bambi gave a shrug and then reached up to her halter. She peeled up the bottom and lifted it to her chin, unveiling her huge jugs to the wild cheering of the audience. Bambi giggled and shook her torso, causing her ample tits to catapult impressively around her chest. There was a few wolf whistles from the audience as Bambi took a big tits in each hand and shook them around, then pinched the nipples. Joe saw on the monitor that the cameraman was zooming in ultra-close to catch all the action. Joe was very pleased that he had set his VCR at home to record tonight’s show, just as Bambi had said earlier, it was going to be a doozie!

I remove my canines, and Gunner grabs ahold of my face and slams his lips to mine. My bottom is lifted, and Gunner falls out just to be replaced by Dean. The gentle touch a huge contrast to the harsh movements lower. My head falls back onto his shoulder as my eyes close from the pleasure.

Jessica walks closer to her with me staying right by her side. Bambi opens her eyes, revealing her sea green orbs. Her eyes are bloodshot, as if she's been through hell. "Jessica..I'm sorry.” She dryly coughs into her elbow. Jessica's hand squeezes mine as she looks up at me, "is she okay? She doesn't look so hot." She whispers. "Hey, I'm always hot." Bambi jokes, immediately regretting it as a ping of stinging pain courses through her skull. "Yes, the sexiest woman alive," I beg to differ, "how're you feeling?” She steps a little closer to her friend's chained body.

Needed to hold and keep safe. Farren shook her head, letting some of her pin-straight tendrils fall on her face. "I keep hearing the bullets hit things. Seeing Priamos fall to the ground." She grimaced and pulled her arms tightly across her chest. Sinking into a crouch, I placed my hand on her extended foot. Farren recoiled. Brought her legs slightly up and out of my reach. This stirred the fawn. Bambi, they had all started calling him. Those doe eyes settled on me. Brushed me off and curled back into the girl. She had started to aimlessly pet it. Soothing either her nerves or his.

I couldn’t take her annoying words and that was the moment I snapped. “You seem to be enjoying your new role as Salvatore Moreti’s wife,” I said, my voice a razor. “Almost like you’ve been training your whole life to be a trophy on his shelf. Or maybe a stepmother fetishist?” Her face twitched. Barely. But I saw it. That flash of pain. Of guilt. It was gone in a blink, but I’d already seen it. Good. I wanted to hurt her. Just a little. "As Finley has already turned eighteen and Lorna is nearing the same age, I don't see any issue with the two of you marking and mating each other now that we have some answers," I said, gently holding Annalise's head in my lap. Annalise looked at Lorna and Finley and said, "According to Selene, our wolves won't turn on each other if we stay with our fated mates. She explained that this is usually the case, but we don't have to worry about it in our situation."
