Dana POV: The Banquet I sit at the round table near the back of the Wood and Ward banquet hall, the one tucked just far enough from the spotlight that I can pretend I’m only a guest. The chandeliers throw soft golden across white tablecloths and half-empty wine glasses.

Kara thanked him and looked around at the décor. A crystal chandelier hung above the crowds in a spectacular show of light bouncing off the clear pendants. The round tables were covered in white table cloths with lilac runners. The table had gold under-plates with plain white crockery on top. Lilac serviettes were folded to stand on top of the plates and wine glasses added their sparkle to the evening. In the middle of every table were a glass bowl with smooth light-colored pebbles in the bottom and three candles floating over it. In front of every plate was a card with the name and menu printed on a white sheet with lilac borders. Two choices were given of every course.

"We're arguing about whether to do round tables or long banquet style." "What's the difference?" I asked. "Round tables are traditional and encourage conversation within small groups," Helen explained. "Banquet style is more intimate and makes it feel like one large gathering." Silverware that were gold plated at the tip and chinaware with dragon designs were carefully arranged per seat. Even the napkin holder was crafted out of Old World yew. The chairs were draped with white, very soft cotton, and ribbons of gold, silver, and beige were tied around the seats according to the saliency of the guests.

She picked some smaller ones and began to throw them into the water. Hours passed by without her realizing it, and she decided to hurry back to the others as it was getting dark. The restaurant was tucked high above the pack, and night had settled over the building, turning the Pack into white, gold, red, and blue twinkling like distant stars. Peach and White were basically the colors in the magnificent Banquet Hall, decorated with too many alluring decors. Many were the lights in the Hall, but only the stunning waterfall crystal chandelier at the dance floor was on.
