The princesses shoulders deflated as she slowly rose back to her feet, nodding obediently as he gripped a hold of her arm, almost gently pulling her back towards the kitchen door. She followed him to a large black door, hesitating as he released his hold on her arm, his animalistic frame quickly descending into the darkness. His wolf pushed at his chest, snarling, ready to fight. “You’re awfully tense tonight, Elder,” she said, tone syrup-slow. “Should I brew you something? Chamomile, perhaps?”
