It wasn’t like he was going to be stepping into any big role right away like me. His old man goes by “Ghost” and I hope he’ll be like him. Ghost is kind of Grouch’s right hand. While I’m the enforcer, the one with the most flies, Ghost is usually the one who gets the guys that come into the basement. You’ll never see him coming until he’s putting zip ties on your wrists and a bag over your head. He’s a huge dude but he’s light footed and sneaky. Professional stalker is the term I use.

The fabric slipped slightly, exposing more of my skin to his gaze. “And me?” he let out a humorless laugh, “Most of the time, I’m Alessandro Costello. A tech genius. A mobster. A killer. A hacker. A murderer. But then—” he paused, snapping open another button, “Then there’s Ghost. And Ghost? He’s pissed at the world, Red. So fucking angry. At everything. At women. Especially women. And he doesn’t even know why. He doesn’t understand what made him this way, but he’s past caring.” Alessandro’s hand stopped on the last undone button of the jacket, the fabric now barely holding its place on my shoulders and then with a mere twist of his wrist, the last button popped open.

He was not worthy of being called a man. If he could possess someone’s body, the first thing he would do would be to beat that bastard Lucien senseless. Watching the small girl continue to cry softly, the ghost raised his hand and placed it gently on her back in comfort. Then he mocked himself for being childish. He was only a ghost. How could she possibly feel his consolation? Yet Elowen truly felt a cool sensation against her back. She immediately straightened up and looked around. Seeing no one, she quietly thought that she must be having hallucinations again.

He sounded so carefree as if he was making fun of his master's helpless situation. "You just want me to sit idle and do nothing? So, what if I am a ghost?" His master asked in resentment. "You're not in a stable condition yet." Replied Little Veen. "So, you're not powerful enough." The man grunted as he ran his fingers in his head. “How can this be?!" He roared angrily. Little Veen just watched him with his cute poker face that didn't show any hint of care. "You're technically a ghost now. Nothing more. You don't even have a body, to begin with." He explained. ‘I thought you realised it from the day we've been tossed here’, his eyes said.

I said, sprinting from the cavern. I reached my room, pausing just outside the curtain to catch my breath. I went in, stepping over Burney and past Lills, who was wrapped in Dave's arms. I crawled into bed and lay down, wrapping myself to my chin in the blankets. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, slipping my ring from my finger. The world behind my eyelids lit up, and I was standing again, a ghost in a world of shimmering beauty. I looked down at my sleeping companions and smiled. Lillith lay there as perfect as ever, her every feature as clear and solid as it was in the waking world.

I tried to take it from his hand again but he just hided in his desk. There was a knock on the door before I got the chance to object. Ace called a come in and a guy came in smiling. "Ghost is asking for the little" he said to ace. "I'm the little boss" I said with a frown, he looked surprised and looked at ace who chuckled again. "She's the mini-boss" he assured him. I smiled and skipped out of the office looking for Leo, the guy guided me toward one of the bedrooms on the second floor.

She was all smiles and looked up happily as she stretched out her hands as though trying to reach out and catch the fairies and butterflies. I decided to swallow my pride and went back to speak with Gabriel. He was lying down on the couch and staring at the ceiling, deep in thought. I went over and attempted to lighten the mood, I sat on his legs and told him if he didn’t move over and give me some space to sit, I was going to break them. He looked at me affectionately and smiled, then said to me, “My love, you do know that you are as light as a feather” and then I pretended to put my whole weight on him attempting to crush his legs. He laughed at my silliness and pulled me over to lie on to

Then—a low, dry voice echoed from the shadows. “You look older.” Liam’s hand went to his sidearm. “That’s rich coming from a ghost.” A man emerged from the shadows behind the altar. Gaunt. Pale. Wrapped in layers of torn clothing and an old military coat, his face mostly hidden beneath a hood. His eyes—icy blue—gleamed with feral intelligence. “You brought company,” Ghost said, stepping forward slowly. “That’s new. I thought you preferred to work alone. Or are you finally in over your head?”

"Another team. However, things are not going well actually. It's a long story. I'll explain you later." "Sure!" Tilting his head around, he then opened the window, and soon his face was exposed. A subtle surprised expression came upon Ava's face when she discovered Felix's face. She could see him sitting in the front of Alex. He's the guy who became the 7th member of the Ghost Busters recently. How can she forget that? Their team had all the informations. She knew Ghost Busters have hired a new member. And, it was easy to guess that this new face might be the new member they hired.
