AIDEN "Have you found anything?" I ask the Ghost, holding a tumbler of whiskey in one hand as I gaze out at the star-studded sky from the balcony. "Nothing suspicious yet," the Ghost replies, his deep voice resonating through my earpiece. The richness of his tone seems almost artificial, which isn't surprising given the person's efforts to conceal their identity. As someone known only by their alias, their true nature remains a mystery. For all I know, a woman could be orchestrating operations from behind the scenes, utilizing advanced voice alteration technology to disguise her voice. I shrug, indifferent to the Ghost's gender, as long as they deliver results.

Ghost pulls out a couple of pieces of paper and throws them down on the table, from brother to brother they make their way up to Austin, Max and me. I look up at Ghost with a humbled look. I was the one that brought Ghost in and was proud as hell when he was patched in less than a year later. I had found him at a bar, some college frat boy was drunk and wanting to pick a fight. Ghost is six four and three hundred pounds of muscle. Kid was out in less than a minute. Ghost has some demons, that much is evident when you see the names of the men he has killed with his bare hands tattooed on his back. "Shane?" Austin asks as I take in the two pictures.

Her boots echoed in the cavernous space as she stepped onto the cold cement floor. A mechanical hum started. Lights flickered on. Dozens of masked men emerged from the shadows. Silent. Armed. And then— Ghost. He wore a sleek matte-black helmet, no features, voice warped by a modulator. “You came,” Ghost said. “I don’t break promises,” Juliette replied, chin high. He stepped closer. “And yet, you’ve broken everything else. The empire. The legacy. Damon’s illusions.” She didn’t flinch. “Where’s the boy?”

Brandon has appeared out of nowhere; he’s standing just behind Gideon with Low and he’s watching me like I’m some kind of fascinating show. “Ghost has no pups, no mate and his momma has two other sons. He’s also not interested in you in the slightest other than your skills at killing; you need backup, and he’s who you get.” Brandon says as he crosses his arms over his chest. Gideon nods along with what he’s saying so I know I don’t have room to argue.

The leader moved with a mysterious agility. "It's here, Master of Ghost Gate!" one of the men whispered. "So, this is the place. Let's see who killed our masters without a trace," Damien said. He was with a few top masters. Each of those men was a Master of Transformative Force, particularly two of the Four Wicked Ghosts—Bane and Harbinger. Both of them were Peak-Stage Transformative Force Masters. Specter had been killed by Henry previously, and Phantom was elsewhere. Damien was already a late-stage grandmaster years ago and among Aurelia's top fighters. His presence there with his team underscored the importance of their mission. He moves with precision, never wasting a bullet, his head constantly turning to track movement. “Behind you!” I shout, but he already knows. A man barrels toward him with a bat, swinging hard, but Ghost steps in and catches the handle, wrenching it from his grip before driving the butt of the weapon into his face. The crack of bone is sickening, and the guy falls hard.

I began to chant as I felt the blood of Ares mixing with my own until I could feel his power coursing through my veins. I lift my hand and outstretched it until my long black fingernail was technically touching the barrier around the clearing. I watch as the tip of my nails began to bend until it melt. I smirked before retracting my hand. "Ester darling, I see you are not happy that I am visiting you today." I spoke and summoned one of my crows. This one name was Ghost, he had a liking for lost souls that lingered on earth.He could spot them quickly, something I have used him for occasionally when I want to suck some of the souls power. There is nothing more delicious than a wandering soul.

Ghost has already put a price on his head, and he knows that the underworld won’t sleep until he is caught. His boss also said that Ghost has already marked his location, so will he even be able to leave this place alive? What was he supposed to do? Die together with Damian? “Marcus, what are you thinking about? Can you say something?” “Mark, have you ever heard of someone called Ghost?” “Ghost?” Mark frowned after hearing the name. He searched through his mind before he nodded, “Yes, isn’t he the legendary underworld boss who turned the whole underworld upside down? I also heard that no one has really seen him, and he always wears a scary mask whenever he is going to meet people.”

[Cara] Could that be a ghost? What is Damon hiding in this place? It smells like someone died in here and left it to rot. However, that voice doesn’t seem to belong to anything ghostlike entity. It feels like it belongs to someone alive, barely breathing and in excruciating agony. Good gracious, Cara! Why do you always seem to get into these sticky situations? That person could be dangerous and had reasons why he was kept there. But what if it turns out that he’s not?
