I said and yanked my phone out of his hand. The moment I got outside and out of prying eyes, I looked down at my phone, his number was boldly written across the screen while his name was in tiny letters under it. I couldn't help but squeal in happiness, on the inside though, can't have them thinking anything of it. Blake's POV

Harvested

Harvested

"Commander Garlof is the last Champion standing. He has won this decade's Harvest," the Kea announcer says, and the crowd roars around me. As tournament assistants carry out the unconscious or injured males, I cry silently. I feel terrible. If only I had stayed in my seat. Burk would be higher up in the standing than what he is. If I hadn't gained him a penalty, he would probably be near the top. I just hope I didn't mess up his chance with the woman he wants.

I’ve now read this book twice. It was fantastic the first time and I caught things I missed the second time. Great storyline, no rushing through the story and I felt like it ended with no loose ends. Can’t wait to read about more of the characters in the next book!

KANE

KANE

At 23, she had thought she might grow a bit taller, but her 5'2" frame stubbornly remained. She had a petite but curvy figure, a body that made her look softer than she felt inside. Her hair—thick, wild, and as red as fire—cascaded down her back in unruly curls. It was impossible to tame, impossible to hide. Her brown eyes, large and expressive, often betrayed her emotions before she could mask them. Right now, they were filled with nervous energy as she focused on the ticket scanner in front of her. She bit down on her full lower lip, a nervous habit she couldn't seem to shake. "Alright," the woman continued, pointing towards a section of the venue. "So, when guests come in, you scan their

And a second later, Leon's head was lying on the table, he had passed out from drinking too much. Diana quickly raised Alpha Darren's hand in the air. Then Canis started clapping. “Congratulations Alpha Darren, you won! You will get a special prize from Leon!” Everyone clapped including Diana. Diana looked at Cartis, "good job. Thank you.”

“That’s… generous, Mr. D’Amaris. I’ll have my team review the proposal. We should be getting back to you about it within the week.” “Of course,” he said easily, standing. “Take all the time you need. I, personally, am not in a rush…” When he reached across the desk to shake my hand, I hesitated for half a second before taking it. His grip was firm, confident, too confident. It was almost as if he was proving a point, though to who, that was a question that I didn’t have the answer to. “I look forward to working with you,” he said, holding my gaze as his thumb brushed against my hand before he let go. “I believe that we are going to make a good team together. Until next time, Luna…”

After a while, he sighed. "My real name is Lucian Quentin Ross". His cold voice broke the silence. I raised my head to look at him. Shock evident on my face. "My dad is Damien Ross". He continued. A small gasp flew from my lips, my eyes widening in surprise. I've heard of Damien Ross. He was one of America's biggest and most wanted drug lord. Ignoring the look on my face, he continued.

As always, I love this Author! Now that the book is complete I am going to go back and read it again. Thank you so much for putting up with all of our whining about new chapters, however it's your fault for writing a book that I didn't want to put down lol! I hope life treats you kindly!!

David Bryant, he’s friends with Mikali and Kurt. He’s a quick-witted guy, with lots of tattoos and piercings thought in his trooper uniform. He wasn’t wearing any of those piercings, and I could only see a hint of the tattoos on his neck. “An attack?" I furrowed my brow. “I didn’t hear anything,” I shrugged.

This story was an awesome read and so glad I read it all the way to the end! Granted I started reading the 3rd book before I realized that it was the 3rd book and not the 1st book as I was somewhat confused. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and how they interacted with each other. Great job!
