Billionaire's Stolen Heart

Billionaire's Stolen Heart

Thick, black lashes firmly closed and casting black shadows under her eyes with her peach colored lips pursed together. "I will let you sleep for a while. Okay?" He mutters in a low voice.

THE DEVIL´S DAUGHTER

THE DEVIL´S DAUGHTER

The rest jump off one at a time. Indra walks up to Baba Yaga. The witch leans her rather decrepit old body against a long wooden cane. She pulls back the hood on the worn mousy grey cloak and reveals her face. One eye hangs down against her sagging cheek which is patchy from crusty aged spots. The loose skin from the eyelid keeps the eye shot. The eye that is directed at them is full of cataracts; a thin milky layer of film covers the iris. Her hair is straw-like and lifeless and it rustles like reeds in the wind. Her wide and bumpy nose starts high up in her forehead and goes all the way down to her pointed chin. The mouth is a thin streak and a mustard yellow tooth with a large black spot

blind

blind

7 years ago "Doctor what happened to her?" I heard my mother's soft voice. "She has Retinitis Pigmentosa." I heard, what I assumed, the doctor "W-What is that?" My mother's trembling voice asked as I felt her hand grip mine. Something was wrong with me. Everything was black. I know for sure my eyes were open but I can't seem to see anything. I heard someone sigh. "M-mom, I cannot. I cannot see." I said as I tried to sit up but someone pushed me down. "Please settle down, honey while I talk to the doctor." My mother said.

Billions and Tears

Billions and Tears

The shadows they cast mirrored the depth of her fatigue, serving as a constant reminder of the nights spent silently weeping or struggling to find solace in restless dreams. Rose's once bright and vibrant eyes now drooped lazily, lacking their usual sparkle and verve. They seemed heavy, burdened by the weight of unshed tears and unspoken worries. Their luster had dimmed, like a flickering flame desperately clinging to its last embers. Each blink appeared slow and deliberate, as if summoning the strength to stay open was an arduous task in itself.

Mister's Revenge

Mister's Revenge

Rae Hill
Mister stood frozen in place as his mind forced him to take it all in. He wanted to look away, but he couldn't, no matter how hard he tried. His eyes were wide open and his face had involuntarily contorted into a look of disgust. He had seen a lot of shit in his life, but this... this was some new level ass shit right here. Her hair had gone grey and it was tangled and matted. She was wrinkled and hunched over and her teeth were black with rot. She had a long, saggy pointed nose and her eyes were the color of puss from a bad infection.

West Ora Academy: It Starts Here

West Ora Academy: It Starts Here

"What's wrong?" Her dark brows furrowed in concern. She no longer dyed her hair in that beautiful rose gold, letting her natural dark hair grow out. It was now peppered with gray hairs. She still wore it in a braided crown with bangs covering her forehead. Those same emerald eyes that mom and I have, weren't as bright as they once were. She had small wrinkles around her eyes and mouth, showing all her happy years. "We need help with a curse again." Mom told her flatly, getting straight to the point.

I absolutely love every book of Rae Knight's I have read, and this one is no exception. Vivid characters you will fall in love with. One of very few authors that can surprise me with twists and turns. Her universe comes alive, and each book brings you deeper into it. Fantastic book so far!

The Hating Game

The Hating Game

[126. What happened to OakPhet- II] Oak slowly supported his chin on his palm without breaking eye contact with Phet. It's only then, Oak really noticed Phet's attractive doe eyes, his gorgeous light brown eyes holding the magnitude of a black hole inside it, his upper eyelids shaped like a wide stretching curvy hill pointing downward at the outer corner, curling into the most beautiful eye smile ever, his soft brownish black locks falling onto his forehead at the side, partially covering his one eyebrow.

I was seriously going to stop reading this book as it is a bit expensive and the story was deviating from the central plot. But today I unlocked a chapter again and I am totally happy after reading it. And I found the author cut out some irrelevant Oakphet portions and added new content. Good work👍

Falling For My Ex-Husband's Best Friend

Falling For My Ex-Husband's Best Friend

Was she really losing it? Her soft brown hair was pulled into a messy topknot, strands falling loosely around her face. Her mascara was smeared, making dark rivers down her pale cheeks. The tears had left trails that cut through the foundation she’d half-heartedly applied that morning. Her lips were chapped, her eyes hollow. And although she was never on the fat side, she’d lost weight again.
