Just my mate, ready to enjoy a beach party.
"You look beautiful," he said, catching me checking him out.
"So do you. Very... beachy."
"Beachy isn't a word."
"It is now."
The beach itself took my breath away. Torches lined the shore, casting warm light across the sand.
Tables laden with seafood and tropical fruits dotted the beach, while a makeshift bar served drinks in coconut shells and sea glass cups. And everywhere, people were laughing, talking, completely at ease.
"Alpha Thorne, Luna Briarthorn!" Alpha Clearwater approached, carrying what looked like a sea glass mug filled with something pink and tropical.
