Boom! An explosion tantamount to a nuclear eruption ensued when the beam and the energy bolt met, culminating in a glittery display like fireworks. Chu Xun grunted hoarsely; a sharp pain shot up from his hand. His knuckles were hurt from this exchange and he was bleeding. But there was no time; the second beam was just coming and before he could cleanly avoid it, it caught him at his shoulder, eliciting a huge spray of blood.

Beside it sit two tall gas cylinders. My lungs burn as smoke fills the air. This place is going to explode. I run to the steel beam and grab it. Pain shoots through my palms. “Mira!” I shout. “Clothes! Wrap your hands!” She grabs a pile of clothes from the floor. We wrap them around our hands and grab the beam together. “Lift!” I shout. We strain, groaning under the weight. Then we swing it forward. CRASH. The metal panel shatters.

A beam of blue light erupted from the staff, piercing through the cavern air with a deafening roar. The Devourer, momentarily stunned, caught the beam squarely in the chest. It shrieked in a deafening cry, a sound that shook the very foundations of the ruins. The beam dug deep, pushing the colossal creature back with an unimaginable force. For a fleeting moment, a sense of triumph flooded Evie. Maybe, just maybe, they had a chance. But the victory was short-lived. The Devourer, though momentarily stunned, roared back, its red eyes burning with renewed fury.

Natsu landed and saw a large darkish purple beam of light with lightening coming out from it heading towards him. "It's too large to dodge, my only option is to counter it" Natsu thought as held one of his blades like a katana while concentrating and talking a deep breath in, letting the other blade fall as he shouted sever, making a large slash mark head towards the beam. Blood spilled out of the beast left side as the beam destroyed the area creating dust that covered the area.
