Beasts Among Men Novels & Stories

Not for long, a horde of spirit beasts appeared on every side. The four towering men were shocked when they saw the horde of spirit beasts. They all have bloodthirsty in their eyes as they stared at the yellow koalas, however, when the spirit beasts saw humans, they all dashed into them. “Wow, Little Black, I can't believe this is the so-called 'they're not many.'” Zachary uttered and stared at the spirit beasts coming to him. Little Black did not answer and just looked away.

Their knees went weak as they realized the flying beast had torn apart the approaching Sand Worm with its claws and was now standing a few meters away from them. The Aves Bird was on the ground now and abhorrently chomping on its flesh just a couple of meters next to them. Escaping was no pointless as well. Even if they all run in different directions, the beast would easily catch up to all of them. A higher-tier beast was something far-beyond their capabilities. Unlike human beings, the Beasts were never obligated to suppress their rhythm. Humans did that out of courtesy for others. The beast's aura was taking over their sanity. Pain, lust, wrath, dread, malice, and fear… these emotions ove

We fight and die so they can live in peace and safety, but we are called beasts. "My sister is very much a real person, and she is not a beast. She is the kindest of us all. She is pure of heart. She is the closest to our creator! SHE CARES ABOUT HUMANS AND THEIR SURVIVAL, EVEN THOUGH NO MATTER WHAT WE DO, IT'S NEVER ENOUGH. DO NOT CALL HER A BEAST AGAIN. WE ARE LYCANS! THE RACE OF PROTECTORS! THOUSANDS OF US HAVE DIED FOR YOUR KIND. THE VERY LEAST YOU CAN DO IS BE RESPECTFUL," I shout, as my turbulent emotions take over.

I did everything to be a good friend, only to be treated as my so-called best friend’s scapegoat. When her husband found cigarette ash in their house, she claimed I was the one smoking. When she snuck off for a private rendezvous with her lover, she told him she was celebrating my birthday. And when she got pregnant, she pinned the blame on me again, declaring I was consumed with jealousy—that I had spiked her drink and hired someone to violate her. Enraged, her husband marched to my doorstep wielding a blade and hacked me to death. When I opened my eyes again, I had returned to the exact day she had asked me to cover for her affair.

“No, it’s not a coincidence, the gymnasium is named after my family. Now that we’ve introduced ourselves, I trust that I’ll not have any more interruptions when I use the punching bag.” Evan Alston watched the threesome from his position against the wall. He had been as enraptured as everyone else at the strength and skill displayed by the tiny woman. It had been astonishing to see the woman defeat men three times her size. He became even more intrigued when he overheard someone whisper her identity. The Beast.

“But, for the glory of God, I beg you: do what Noah asked and let me get you and your brother to safety…” The sound of screams of pure despair interrupted him and, at the same instant, the three of us turned to see a group of women, children, and elderly people running in despair, while the moonlight reflected off the armor of a single gigantic wolf. “Fuck!” Atticus grunted through clenched teeth, his whole body tensing as he watched our warriors, most of them young, charge toward the intruder.

Both swivelled to watch the darkness bleed across the face of the city like some heliotropic plague that eclipsed the sun and threatened to plunge the world in a cocoon of near blackness. People had begun to close up shop, wooden boards drawn over stall windows, cart fulls of produce drawn away by severely whipped donkeys, mothers amok snatching their babes while orphans frolicked out in the open fields naked as day with tongues lolling out of their mouths waiting for the free shower.

"I know. But the suspense kills me. Will she be a warrior like I? I have always dreamed of a mate who will conquer with me." Kane said nothing for a while, and Zane scoffed. "I know. She is human. That is my curse." "Humans have an allure to them, don't you think?" Zane shook his head. "I do not share your thoughts, Kane. I will get ready for tonight, and then leave once the sun rises tomorrow. Prepare everything." "Yes, brother." Kane said, and then came forward to Zane's normally affectionate half hug. Zane hugged him, then patted his back a little, before finally releasing him.

Mindy whispered loudly enough for everyone to hear, and I rolled my eyes goodnaturedly. Despite the warmth of their attention, a part of me felt detached, like I was an imposter in their world. The admiration for my wolf, the whispered comments about how strong she must be—it all felt undeserved. They didn’t understand the chaos beneath the surface, the lack of control that scared me more than anything else. I hadn’t been myself while I’d been in that beast's form. I would never have been able to tear into two grown men like that were it not for my wolf. Despite everyone’s relief that she’d been there, I wasn’t sure I liked it. A month ago, I couldn't even kill a bug on my own and now I was

"Today we are going to learn about beasts and how to tame them.
