Beasts In Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them Novels & Stories

Cold sweat emerged from their backs, including Zhao. Surrounding this outer pond was a great horde of spirit beasts. Too, great. Five-spotted Antelopes lied down and slept silently while the calves of their young ones played with the cubs of their most hated species— Violent Jawed Wolves. The wolf cubs were small and furry with innocent gazes as they would run along with the lithe calves of the Antelopes that had yet to grow their horns. Flying mid-air was a flock of giant beetles that were collectively surrounded by a beautiful bluish aura. Their glowing blue wings indicated that these were actually one of the most poisonous species of the forest— Mesmerizing Beetles! The strangest thing wa

I closed my eyes and embraced the darkness. Xavier stared at her figure one last time before he could leave. She looked so beautiful and peaceful while asleep. He couldn't wait to take her again and show her all the things he could do but first he had to make sure that it was safe. He turned to the door and walked out of the room letting his beast out when he was out of sight and in the woods. He could pick a scent that he knew did not belong to any member of his pack and he followed it.

The sudden change of scenery sharpened Adrian’s focus. “Tyron, it seems we’ve arrived in a completely different place. I wonder where the Phoenix Tree and the Prism Stone are. Finding them is proving more difficult than expected,” Adrian said, frowning as he realized he still hadn’t gained any useful information in this secret realm. Tyron frowned too. “It’s said we can locate the Phoenix Tree through magical beasts.” Adrian stayed silent. The beasts in this forest were powerful, and accidentally running into an Astral Stage creature could spell trouble. They couldn’t afford unnecessary confrontations, but they were running out of options.

Ignoring the question, she barreled past him, saying, “If you are coming, let’s go.” Carter’s Jeep was parked just outside Layla’s room, and while Mira hopped in the passenger’s seat, Carter knocked on his girlfriends door, urging her to come quickly. Mira eyed Layla as the woman wrapped her thick, dark hair into anponytail, walking quickly to the vehicle then jumping in the back seat, while Carter climbed in behind the wheel and turned the engine. “I think our best bet,” Layla began as they drove off into the hot afternoon, wind whipping through the vehicle, “is to park at our former site and walk due north by five hundred yards where I noticed seven unmarked barrels.”

"There are public restrooms, but they are not cleaned, and you will have to do it yourself." I swallowed. Hell. This place is hell. "Four. You have an alpha scent, but you are technically an omega to us." "Is there a way to climb up the ranks?" "You don't know what you are talking about," he said with a laugh. "You will never be able to climb up ranks in here." "Why? I have an alpha scent and..." "Ask your wolf if it can scent mine." I held my breath and focused. She could, but only faintly. I focused harder, and she immediately whimpered. Too strong. My eyes met his, and he gave a small smile.

No, this was about losing something that he thought he owned. Drake growled, and Samantha turned her head sharply in his direction. "All right, My Beast, don't start breathing fire. Cool heads need to prevail here." "Your Beast, huh?" Drake smirked. "Yeah. You're name is Drake. That's a dragon, you sounded like your were about to roar, you were definitely growling, I think if you get mad enough, you might just breathe fire. So, My Beast." Vulcan watched this by-play with a great deal of humor. The woman shouldn't know his friend that well. But, it seemed that she did, indeed know him, and know him well.

Emily’s heart raced, visions flickered: Mira unconscious, bound, magic leeching from her. They raced into the forest with Xavier and Kael. Traces of magic lay like breadcrumbs: burned leaves, bone shards, and sigils only the Beast could have left. “Someone’s calling the Beast,” Kael said, voice tremulous. “Using Maya’s blood.” Emily swallowed back fear but fury rose: no one kidnapped her sister in arms without paying the full price. --- The trail led them to the Bonefire temple beyond the ridge, a circular ruin bathed in moonlight. The Fireborn scouts were unconscious in the middle, and the Beast was crouching over a cage that held Mira.

My heart dropped. “You see,” the demon continued, “treasures always demand a price.” Her voice drifted like smoke. “If you want the truth, go to the Stormspire Mountain. Every answer you seek waits there.” The doors burst open as the werewolf elders stormed in. Outside, strange, soft-bodied creatures were fighting the police—boneless, writhing, crawling across the garden like massive larvae. I stared at them in horror. The worms. “Oh,” Thalmyr giggled. “You’ve found my little gift. Do you like it?”

The scent of leather, parchment, and magic mixed with the faint musk of hundreds of wolves. I found a seat near the back, hoping to go unnoticed, hoping to observe without drawing attention. My wolf twitched beneath my skin, alert, restless. There was… tension here. Power hiding in plain sight. And somewhere, just beyond the veil of normalcy, I knew the Alpha I had glimpsed outside was still watching.

"Millions? You don't look like you're worth the price." Clayton stood, eyeing Salem with interest. "Do you know where to bite down on your throat to make someone quiet?" Clayton took a step forward. "Or how to make a beastkin vanish without a trace? Only a lowly beastkin like me would know, right?" Salem sensed the warning bells. He took a nervous step back, his tail flicking anxiously. "What are you trying to do?"
