Love, Broken, and Found

Love, Broken, and Found

I gazed down at my wedding ring, catching the golden glow of the sunset. Those who once hurt us were now little more than faded ink on the pages of a distant fairy tale. The real story was now unfolding warmly and vividly in the palms of our hands.

The Tamed and Broken

The Tamed and Broken

With nowhere to direct his rage, Dylan kicked the shelf in the corner over. He scanned the empty quarter as a sense of dread overtook him. “Sarah… “I hope she isn’t trying to do anything drastic…” Dylan smashed the window. The broken shards flew everywhere, cutting his arm. The sharp pang reminded him of Sarah’s scarred body. By the looks of the injuries, she must be hurting. He could not fathom the extent of Sarah’s suffering. She survived five years on a remote island, only to be reduced to a servant upon her return.

The Broken Ones

The Broken Ones

Only one messaged from him and all my worries would be gone. “I hope he won’t get mad.” I whispered while staring the table out from the garden. Until now I couldn’t believe that our house was still the same. I thought Demir would let Laura lived here and changed everything. As I was about to stand the frame suddenly fell on the ground. My heart skipped in surprise to hear the loud bang and the broken pieces of glasses scattered on the ground. I was about to pick one of the broken glasses but it pinned on my fingers and so as my phone suddenly vibrated.

324 Abercorn

324 Abercorn

Hoping to buy himself a little more time, he grabbed one of the thicker books—Bag of Bones—and hurled it toward the stairs just as the panther came into the library. Time stretched out like taffy, and as the book sailed across the room, the panther seemed to shrink before his eyes. With dawning horror, Brad realized there had never been a panther, it was only Phantom. He cried out even as the book landed on top of the cat. Phantom let out a nails-on-chalkboard cry, pinned beneath the heavy brick of a volume. Brad hurried back to the stairs, casting the book aside. Phantom seemed daze, mewling and curling up on itself like a pill bug.

725 Days With My Alpha Stepbrothers

725 Days With My Alpha Stepbrothers

“I’m sorry this happened. I’m sorry you had to see it. Please, give me another chance. I don't want to ruin your first day of training. Today is supposed to be special for you. Please allow me to fix this.” I didn’t respond. My gaze drifted around the library, taking in the destruction. The room was in ruins. Books were scattered everywhere, shelves toppled and broken. My eyes caught on a large, old book lying on the floor. Something about it drew me in, a strange sense of familiarity pulling at me.

His Mate, His Enemy

His Mate, His Enemy

He finds the passages that confirm it. Bonded pairs may share pain and fear. His breath stutters. He throws a book across the room. It slams into the wall with a violent crack, pages fluttering like wounded birds to the floor. In my library, my vision blurs. My fingers curl around the fragile page, and before I can stop myself, I tear it in half. The sound is soft. Final. I stare at the torn edges, at the truth bleeding through the room around me. Books lie open everywhere, their words screaming the same conclusion in a dozen different ways.

Demon Host

Demon Host

The shelves had been scattered around and books were flying all around the small space. My left leg was stuck under one of the shelves and i had to manage and pull it off in an awkward position with just two of my hands until my leg was free and i could feel the enormous pain but that did not stop me from finding the book. I had been searching while struggling with a broken foot for a book that held the rest of my future, and when i finally found it, i was completely shattered. I did not want to cry, i could not, all along i told myself i was iron woman, made of steel and nothing would break me. Nothing could.

Annabel Raven
The story is very compelling and I really like the plot so far, the characters are well described and the loyal friendship between the girls tells a lot about friendship. It's a quite dark story what makes even more interesting! A must-read!

I grabbed it and was totally stunned by what I saw. There was a sculpture of two wolves biting at an orb in front of the book. The title had me totally flawed. 'The Correction to the Book of Unbreakable mate bond' "Finally!" I muttered. "You found it?" She asked me. "What do you think happened?" I asked her, smiling from ear to ear. "Apparently, I hope you did or I'll assassinate you right here for raising my hopes." She said to me, "My apologies but trust me, I would die so willingly if you are the one doing it." I said to her,

Resent, Reject, Regret

Resent, Reject, Regret

“Music book? Where is it?” Deirdre didn’t have time to answer. She knelt on the ground and groped in its direction based on memory. Following her movements, Brendan saw the wooden music book, which was broken into two on the ground. He didn’t know what was so precious about it. However, when Deirdre touched it, she held it in her arms like a precious treasure. “No, it’s broken into two…” said Deirdre helplessly. After a while, she felt sluggish, let out a muffled cry, and hugged the book even tighter.

This whole story is the worst one I've ever read & I've read alot. I stopped reading it for the most part & to think that Charlene is supposed to be back with a new face to start this garbage all over again for the 3rd time. De is the most pathetic female character & Bren is the worst male character

Today's 100 chapter dump was peak! My continuous facepalm during 716 was so hard, if it continues like this, I'll end up looking like the disfigured Deirdre by the end of this novel lol Brendan needs to come clean and work with Deirdre, that's the only way they can defend Charlene. God, I hate her
