Sam meets the Goddess… Sam sat on the ground and just looked out over the world in front of her. The view was beautiful, a waterfall in the distance surrounded by a parade of colorful flowers. All different kinds of flowers. The river was surrounded by woods and open fields where everything thrived. The grass was pure green. The trees were full of leaves. She took a deep breath and said. “Goddess, please give us one day of rest. One day of peace. One day of celebration. One day to enjoy the little things.”

I‘m eager to know if she hears my thanks. "I do, child, but tonight, I would like to hear it in person. It would mean so very much to me,” she answers me. I take a deep breath and recite the prayer to the Moon Goddess that Papa taught me: "Sweet Maiden of the waxing moon, I ask you for your blessings new. Thank you for your purest heart, And for the promise of fresh new starts. Divine Mother of the fullest moon, My life is abundant by the love from you.

“Welcome home, dear.” Lucy, standing somewhat awkwardly, extended her hand. “Hello, Mr. Thompson. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Mr. Thompson acknowledged her with a nod leaving her hand hanging before his gaze shifted to Joshua, who stood nervously beside Lucy. Lucy gently put her hand down. The warmth in Annabella's father, Mr. Thompson's eyes turned cold. Without a word, he advanced towards Joshua, followed closely by four imposing men. Joshua’s face turned a ghostly shade as he saw Mr. Thompson’s approach. He immediately fell to the floor, prostrating himself in a desperate attempt to appease. “Good morning! Good morning, sir! The night was alive with bright, beautiful lights that glowed creating magnificent scenery. The two Alpha sons mated in the same week. In light of this, our Alpha and Luna thought it would be fitting that we offer the Goddess a blessing on this fine night.” Jax looked from Axel and I on the podium to his mate who was now watching us with anger and confusion.

He would have given us the best prayer for the meal. “Let us pray,” Nana said then began to pray, “Dear lord, we thank you for the beautiful hearts that sit at the table today. We thank you for this beautiful meal and for keeping us. We ask that you help us to heal and bless us with our heart's desire. We hope to hear good news after we are done with this meal concerning our boy. We also pray that you keep him nourished for us and safe. Thank you, Lord, for we know you've answered us.”
