Craving The Badboy
I didn’t know he saw.
The way he was looking at me now, direct, almost violent in intensity, made something twist inside me.
“I... I don’t know why that matters,” I said carefully.
“It matters,” he said, stepping closer, voice like a matchstick on gasoline. “Just tell me who the hell he was.”
I hesitated, because the truth tasted awful in my mouth. But his tone left no room for debate.
“Beckett Reynolds,” I said. “Head of Admissions at Yale.”
