I nod, swiping my bloody palms down my black leggings before grabbing my bag and heading towards the hospital. Thanks to shifter healing, by the time I join the girls downstairs for dinner, the only evidence of my broken nose and fractured cheekbone is the colorful bruises on my face. Luckily, my ribs were only cracked from when Dana kicked me, so a compression bandage was enough to hold them in place in order to heal correctly. My nose had already started healing by the time I made it to the hospital, so the doctor had to re-break my nose in order to set it properly. The feeling of my nose being broken and reset made me want to throw up, so I didn’t bother with lunch and just slept the rest

Christine says walking in with Kylie and Brooks, a bear in her hand and flowers in Brooks. “Hey guys, I’m doing good” I say hugging them as best as I can, thanking them for the bear and flowers. “Yeah, of course. So, what happened? How hurt are you?” Brooks says, wrapping his arm around Ellie. “I ran a red light because of something and here I am. A couple broken ribs, arm and leg, concussion and internal bleeding. I have to stay here for the rest of break” I say rolling my eyes. My last five days of winter break are wasted on me being stupid.

My voice is perfectly steady. It doesn't even shake. Broken Nose sighs. He stands up, pushing the metal chair back. He doesn't telegraph the punch at all. He just turns his hips and drives his fist directly into my jaw.

I watched helplessly as Lily continued to get shanked, blood spilling from her side.

Haya compromised the lady. "Shasha, what happened to the understudy who rejected you?" Haya asked her partner. "Good thing, he just has a dislocated bone in his leg, so at the moment he can't walk. “He replied. "What about our classmate Janice? “He asked one more of their friends. "Ok, that fourth-year understudy, injured in the face, still recovering in the emergency clinic." he said so. "So, you Tony, what is it you have to do, a broken bone or a cut on the forehead?" he lowered her.

Micah helps me restrain Waltman and gestures toward Connor, “I’ll handle this asshole. Go and help Connor.” I look back and see that Lynch struggling in Connor’s arms. Connor tries to hold her down, but she’s slippery. When she tries to dig her nails into his eyes, I grip her hair, pull her head back and punch her. Her eyes roll into the back of her head, and she loses consciousness. “Are you alright?” I ask Connor. He wipes blood in the corner of his eye and grimaces. “It’s just a scratch. You?” I nod my head and aim at my cut arm. “I’m okay. Just a cut.”

Her foot makes contact and, with a loud crunch, he falls to the ground and Kayla just crosses her arms over her chest and stands like she's waiting for a bus. While that was happening, Dina started running toward me without even trying to protect her face, so I just stood there waiting for her to get closer, punched her in the nose, breaking it. As she stood there grabbing her nose, I landed three solid punches to her ribs, hearing them break. She dropped and started writhing on the ground in pain.

“Simon says… break her nose.” I stared at Leah with wide eyes, trying to silently beg her not to. I like my nose. I didn’t want it broken. To be honest, I didn’t want anything broken, but I especially didn’t want my nose broken. It looked just like my mother’s, and I wanted to carry it with me for the rest of my life. Leah’s fist made contact with my nose, and I heard the crunching noise of it breaking. Pain sparked in my brain, and I wondered for a second if she’d punched me so hard part of my nose had entered my brain.

I nod. He comes over to my other side and he helps me stand. The moment I'm upright my whole body trembles from pain. Chris immediately lifts me up and hurries towards the door. That means we have to pass through the party and by the shocked gasps and murmers people are seeing my condition. A broken nose, a knife sticking out of my body and the general exhaustion I'm currently feeling. His parents must be following because I hear Irina saying something to her husband though it feels like it's far.
