BLADE 3. Pain. It was all I felt when I shot my eyes opened. I felt so sore and tired. The memories of how Lorenzo plunged deeper into me last night filled my mind. He was so cruel to me. I didn't find any enjoyment in it at all. I tried lifting my hands and I was happy It was back to functioning. My tit hurts too as a result of the sucking he did last night.

The world exploded into scent and sound and raw power. When the shift was complete, Blade stood there, massive and panting. But his eyes, when I looked through them, were not the chaotic red-blue of the curse. They were a clear, focused, burning hazel. My hazel. I looked down at the map clenched carefully in his teeth. Then I looked north, towards the distant, jagged line of the Seven Mountains on the horizon. With a powerful thrust of his hind legs, Blade launched forward. Not in a destructive rage, but in a single-minded, world-eating sprint. We were a black arrow shot from a bow, tearing through the forest, driven by one thought, one hope, one deadline.

I scanned the long trail ahead and spotted a single, gleaming silver Midnight Wolf Runner parked beneath the pines beside the path. I bolted down the ridge, my healed left leg striking the earth with perfect, powerful rhythm, and pressed the bone rune on the key. The machine's light-crystals flashed, and the heavy doors unlocked with a low thrum. I opened the frame and discovered a large wooden box bound with a blood-red hide. I grabbed the box and slid my male body into the high driver's seat.

We just passed the 12 weeks mark. “Rissa and Gabe will help you practice and get used to it.” I just nodded and pulled the knife from its sheath. It was beautiful in its own deadly way. I didn’t know shit about knives, but I was sure you can kill pretty easily with a blade like this. “The blade is a high density silver alloy, so don’t cut yourself,” Gabriel chimed in. “I won’t.” I gave him an offended look as I put the blade back and closed the box on it.

All Abe had to o was to hold on for as long as he could before Mane got here. “This should be enough” Abe thought silently as he slowly stood up. Although his ribs still hurt, he was able to move. He could feel one of the enemy wielders approaching his position. Abe silently and calmly walked away from the approaching wielder. Although it was a dangerous move, he was able to do it. Not only were his senses heightened, he was also able to slightly cloak some of his movements. With the dust as his cloak, and the dome as his shield, Abe slowly made his own maze. He slowly deposited the few earth mines he had left at random positions; however, he kept one to himself. He needed to throw them off

“For our leader.” Alex exhales slowly. “I didn’t ask to—” “We know,” Eve says. “That’s why they’re yours.” Mazikene unwraps the cloth. The blades catch the early light immediately. They’re a matched pair—slightly curved, long enough to demand respect but not so heavy they’d slow her. The steel is darkened, patterned subtly, like smoke trapped beneath the surface. The hilts are wrapped in deep red leather, worn in just enough places to suggest they were meant to be held, not displayed.

Eleanor raced through a maze with Ambrose hot on her heels, a pocket-sized knife held tightly in his left hand. She was trapped as the maze seemed to have no exits. Beads of sweat gathered on her forehead, both in the dream and reality, dripping down the sides of her face. She was frantic in her breathing and terrified of the looming danger in the name of Ambrose. "I'll kill you, you cunt!" Ambrose thundered in a loud voice behind her. His badly cut body oozed blood. It pooled beneath his feet and left bloodied footprints in his trail.

As it was, they jumped into the air to slice their enemy using their sharp bellies. “Holy…! You’re so fond of beetles, huh?” she commented with a grimace. Mazoi had to get away from the Elaterid beetles as well. Only he and Elise were the targets of the insects. Meru smiled as if he won the battle between him and the Medjay even though the latter was able to get up from his beating.

Before I could ask, she explained softly, "Mr. Lutz left ten minutes ago for a meeting. Give me a minute. I'll call his assistant." I wanted to say it was fine, but she bolted, leaving me alone in the room. As I struggled to sit up, I noticed my arms and right calf were bandaged. Lying still, I hadn't felt much, but moving around brought a searing, bone-deep ache. "Ow!" I grunted. The door opened behind me, and I thought it was the nurse. "You don't need to call them." I turned and saw Colin, his face marked with handprints.

Lena looked around nervously. “I hate this place.” “It hates you too.” “That’s comforting.” “It wasn’t meant to be.” A white screen flickered above them.
