Just before I black out, I feel myself shifting back to a human form and then everything goes dark. *****

Jason's eyes-too green, too *hungry*. The girl's beetles crawl through the walls. I grab a knife from the table. --- **The Cut** Jason blocks the door. "Where are you going?" "Away." Eden tugs my arm. "Don't leave, Mom." His fingers melt into beetles. I slash the knife through the air, tearing the cabin's illusion. The walls bleed mercury, the floor dissolving. Jason's face rots, revealing the girl beneath. She hisses, the doll's stitches bursting.

Blaze warned her. "Fuck you, he isn't your mate but mine, this title belongs to me rightfully." Mia sneered, she wasn't going to let a hybrid take her title. "He's mine, you bitch!" His ex ran up to her and scratched her face with her long ass acrylics nails. Mia fight back, punching her face making her nose bleed. She groaned and hold her nose, painfully. Blaze pushed his ex off his mate, Mia sat up and he hugged her tightly.

Blade came out with his usual all black clothing—a big black sweatshirt, a black baggy jean, black glasses, black face cap, black sneakers— and a revolver carefully tucked by his side. To my shock, the passenger door opened and a girl came out. She was obviously young, probably fourteen or fifteen with red hair and a round hazel eyes which peered at me through the glass of the coffee shop. I couldn’t help but wonder who she was and why Blade had decided to bring her along. They both shared words before walking towards the coffee shop. “Emily!” Blade called as he walked inside with his companion right behind him. “I’m right here,” I said waving my hands in the air to draw his attention.

Rose took a deep breath, clutching her ribs—where I knew she must be in pain—before stepping into the maze. The second they crossed the entrance, the timer began. Laser beams activated just a few steps in. The sensors were set to react instantly. Rose moved first—sliding past the first beam, then expertly vaulting over the second. A sharp wince flickered across her face as she twisted between two beams without warning. Before she could fully recover, she dropped into a slide beneath four consecutive beams—the final obstacle. Seconds later, her team caught up. They stood before the red door.

The robot’s chest plate began to drip, molten metal falling to the floor with sizzling plops. “Clear visual!” Willz yelled. Mello, finally finished, held up his sketchbook. He had drawn not a bazooka, but a long, wicked-looking katana with a serrated edge. “I hear you, brother!” Bryan, his energy clearly flagging, gasped out, “Make the final move!” Willz’s scythe appeared in his hands in a swirl of shadow. Mello’s drawing glowed, and the katana materialized before him, dropping into his grip.

The blade goes over my skin, drawing blood, but I barely feel it as I look into Leo’s gorgeous amber eyes. “BEAST!!! THEY’RE COMING!!!” Axe comes barreling through the woods, covered in blood.

“You know that I can’t just ignore your creations” “Go ahead” she laughed. They won’t mind. And the steel moved with great speed. Hale perked up when he could hear blades. Up ahead he could see….he wasn’t sure what was moving, but it was moving towards all of them at breakneck speed. It was spinning, it had blades and was cutting up the green things. Hale didn’t know what order to give when he saw it. He was involuntary frozen and the blades were coming towards him. What brought him back to the present was ice coming out in front of him and taking the spinning blades up and it landed onto the ground luckily far away from him.

He waits for the bone spider to look away. Once it does, Bob takes a nearby vine and swings towards the bone spider’s tree. The bone spider looks up but it was too late. Bob lets go of the vine mid-air then he pulls out his knife. He points it downwards and he plunges towards the bone spider’s head. The bone spider lets out a screech but it is quickly silenced as the stone knife pierces its carapace. Bob hears a wet crunch as brain matter and bone are crushed under his weight. The bone spider falls flat on its body as it immediately loses its life.
