The Last Blackthorne Heir Returns
In the moonlight, I could just make out what looked like a sketchbook and a set of drawing pencils.
"What is this?" I asked, though I already knew.
"A new beginning," he said softly. "I can't replace what Jon destroyed, but I thought maybe...maybe you could start again."
I reached out and took the sketchbook, my fingers brushing against his. That now-familiar jolt of electricity shot up my arm, but this time I didn't pull away. The book was beautiful, leather-bound with thick, creamy pages that felt expensive under my fingertips.
"Why?" I whispered.
