What are they up too? I turn around and walk to the bathroom. I shut and lock the door. I turn on the water, and splash some on my face, and swish some around in my mouth. I spit it out, and stare at myself in the mirror. My eyes have changed. They are green with silver specks in them. Thats new. I need to make notes to start seeing if I can start putting things together.

The flames flickered strangely, as though unsure whether to stay lit. I looked into my obsidian mirror and whispered, “Show me... Adolfa.” The mirror rippled and swirled with thick smoke. Slowly, the image of a young girl appeared. Her hair was wild, her eyes too aware. She didn’t look strong, but something in her aura was different. She glowed faintly. “That’s her,” I said. “That’s Adolfa.” Suddenly, the mirror cracked. A loud snap run across my chamber. “She’s fighting it,” I said, narrowing my eyes. “Even in this new body, she dares to resist me.”

“Some don’t know what to believe. Some are just repeating what they heard. Cassidy poisoned the air, yes, but poison doesn’t last forever. You just have to keep breathing until it clears.” Elara’s throat tightened. “What if I can’t?” “Then lean on me,” Lena said without hesitation. “Lean on us. You don’t have to carry this alone.” Elara blinked back tears. For the first time that day, her lips curved into the faintest smile. The Mirror Test That evening, Elara found herself standing before her mirror. The woman staring back was pale, her shoulders tense, her eyes shadowed with exhaustion. Is this who they see? she wondered. A fraud. A liar. A girl too weak to fight back?

The last one… was Elara. Mira stepped forward, and the reflection moved with her. “You’re not me,” she said. The Elara-mirror smirked. “No. I’m what’s left of who you tried to bury.” Mira clenched her fists. “I buried her for a reason.” “She’s not gone,” the reflection said. “You absorbed her. You wear her bones.” Suddenly, the mirror cracked—from the inside. Black static spilled out. And Mira woke up screaming. Carl was at her side in seconds. “What is it?”

Then she stopped again—right in front of the landing. My heart slammed against my ribs. Don’t turn. Don’t turn. She tilted her head slightly and reached into her bag. After digging for a while, a smile lifted her lips. “Found ya.” Slowly, she pulled out a mirror. I blinked. What the hell? “Did she just bring out a mirror?” “Hell, I was expecting a gun.” I grinned. Elix lifted it, studying her reflection carefully. Then, with absolute precision, she adjusted her expression. The wildness me and Wang just witnessed, disappeared. Her eyes softened and her lips trembled.

She did not like heavy makeup at all. "Okay, ma'am. Please sit here" The beautician said Lelia sat down on the chair and the beautician started doing the makeup. After half an hour, the beautician said, "The makeup is finished ma'am. Look up and see. If you do not like it it will change the makeup" When Lelia opened her eyes and looked at the mirror, she really couldn't recognize herself. She couldn't believe that the girl in the mirror was she. Because the girl in the mirror was so gorgeous. Lelia was mesmerized by looking at her own reflection in the mirror.

And I had no fucking idea how to reach them. Elara moved to the far wall and pulled out something wrapped in faded cloth. When she unwrapped it, I saw a mirror — warped at the edges, blackened in the corners. Old. Dangerous. “The Mirror of the Waking Realm.” she said, offering it like a spellbound curse. “It can show what a person believes is real. Not what is. Not what was. But what they believe now.” Sophia’s breath caught. “If she’s really rewritten their minds,” Elara went on, “then this might help us see what that looks like. But it comes with a cost.”

Later that night, as darkness enveloped the Mirabella Estate, Autumn found herself transfixed by her reflection in the antique mirror hanging in her room. The glass fogged gently around the edges, but her reflection remained clear and sharp, an eerie contrast. Just as the image began to wane, it revealed a chilling sight—a smile, wide and inexplicable, unfurled across her mirrored self.

Behind her, wolves bowed, chained and kneeling. The reflection smiled cruelly. “Queen,” it whispered through the glass. “Monster.” Luna’s stomach clenched. She turned away , only to find the same image in every direction. Herself, endless, powerful, corrupted. Her hand trembled as she reached for one of the panes, her fingers brushing against the cold surface. The mirror felt alive. It pulsed. “Why are you showing me this?” she demanded. “Because I want to see what you’ll do when you realize what you could become.”

Letta gazed at her reflection in the large mirror in front of her. She was wearing a white dress that clung to her body. Letta kept staring, wondering if the reflection in the mirror was really her or not. Her face was adorned with light makeup, yet she didn't even recognize her own face. Had it really been so long since she last dressed up? Letta tugged at the corner of her lip.
