Bella Winters Novels & Stories

Tried and failed. When she came out, steam clinging to her, hair damp and skin flushed from the heat, I realized for the hundredth time that day that I was in dangerous territory. Not because of her beauty. No, I’d seen beautiful women. Bella was something else. Something that made the room feel smaller. She padded out in pink pajamas ridiculously soft, ridiculously innocent and I nearly laughed. This woman who had stood in front of an entire chapel, unflinching, who had stared me down like a rival, was now wearing pastel pajamas with little satin bows.

Winter “Oh shit,” I muttered under my breath and stared at the screen of my phone. I dialed the number again and hoped she'd at least hear me out. She picked after the second ring and I exhaled. “Bella, just listen to me okay? This—this was not my fault.” “Of course.” “Look—I agree that this doesn’t sound good but just trust me.” There was silence for a second. “I just hate how this is turning, Winter. I don’t know what you’re thinking but it’s not helping.”

“My goodness, you scared the life out of me!” Aunt Caroline was a short and plump woman in her mid-forties. Her hair was always dyed blonde because she took after her idol Madonna. She kept her face hidden with all the cosmetics she covered it. The only time she was seen without her make-up was when she applied facial mask. “Aunt Caroline? What’s got you all fired up?” Yet inside Ellaine’s head she was still thinking about the empty town and the huge tree. “You were having a bad dream!”

Her gaze locked on Jane, the weight of her words hanging in the air. Bella stood abruptly, moving to the window where she stared out into the night. The moon hung heavy in the sky, shrouded in clouds, an ominous sign. Her fingers traced the cold glass as she waited for Jane's response. She didn’t know exactly what Jane would say, but she expected something—anything—that would reassure her that their plan was moving forward.

Winter pulled away, shooting a sharp glance at Raphael in response to his unexpected kiss. However, he gently anchored his hand on the back of her head and once more drew her into a kiss. As an omega, Winter possessed an allure that heightened Raphael's attraction toward her. His resolve to resist her was tested when her icy fingers grazed his skin. Despite his efforts, his restraint crumbled as Winter unwittingly drew near to him.

They were standing together beside Winter’s locker. I furrowed my brows, time to find out the truth. I went to where they stood, Anna’s heartbeat increased as I came closer. I could hear it beating, good for her I wasn’t after her this time. “Karl Wavering King” Winter smiled when she sees me. She’d made a good seductress. "Follow me," I ordered and I made sure that she saw how furious my tone was, at first she was reluctant but she followed suit.

“Their membership was revoked and they were kicked out. I believe the white witch was enraged that day.” “Did you just say white witch?” Dylan checked. “Yes, that is how the owner is referred to.” “Are you talking about a real witch or something?” “To be honest, I don't know, but what I noticed was that she only wore white clothes and had white hair.” “Is she really that old?” “She appears to be very young; no one knows anything about her. She's a mystery, but she's also the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.” He couldn't believe such a thing existed, but whatever it was, it wouldn't hurt to see for himself.

Moon asked confused. "Weren't wolves created without humans? I can't imagine how Gaia might have turned out had the human half hadn't been released." Moon commented. "You must understand the importance of the part we all play in this. I have dealt with Chad and his Council long before I was your alpha. Winter was an old wolf, and I was his Luna. Chad’s wolves are different beasts in their own rights, they need to be reguarded with respect, or whoever the Council faces in physical or psychological combat will fall every time." she paused to sip her coffee.

I questioned with a chuckle She laughed and rolled her eyes "No I don't, but piece of advice when dealing with drunk Alice, don't say she ain't wild cuz she is. Alice Winters is just a boring statistics teacher but Wild Winters is a fucking riot!" "Wild Winters?" I giggled She laughed softly "That was my nickname in college whenever I was drunk."

I was there. The room grew dead quiet again. Jeremy wasn't finished. "There were winters when Lady Bella worked until sunrise. She skipped meals. She cancelled personal celebrations. She even continued working while suffering from wolf fever." I looked down at my hands. I had actually forgotten about that particular winter. But Jeremy hadn't. He remembered everything. "Why?" Elder Miriam asked softly, her eyes filled with sympathy. Jeremy answered without a single second of hesitation. "Because she believed the Alpha deserved a strong pack."
