Mattheo's POV "Mom. What you did cannot be justified. You chased Belle away and hurt her? You're too harsh with a woman who is pregnant with your first grandchild." I cornered my mother, Ragen, on our third call of the night. Belle is still in her office, refusing to be touched by Veronica who wants to take her to the hospital. "Madam Quigley, is that Mr. Page's girlfriend?" Yolanda's smile radiated with pride and joy for her daughter-in-law. "That is correct." Someone in the crowd lamented, "No wonder Grayson had taken a liking to her! Her beauty and charisma are beyond this world! Are you really sure she came from the countryside?" Yolanda nodded in response. "That's right. My dear Belle is a country girl." "Belle! Over here!" Yolanda subsequently gestured for Belle to come over. Hearing Yolanda's call, Belle turned to Grayson and said, "Let me head over and greet Mrs. Yolanda properly."

Sebastian nods slowly, chewing a bitter smile, “You are denied of what’s owed to you for too long, so I understand. But it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take what’s yours. Just…” Sebastian shoots a glance at the center of the lobby with that sentence unfinished. People are gathering around because the head of the Green family – The Green Lady, AKA, Emma’s biological mother, Scar’s grandma – is now standing up with a beam on her face and a thin glass of champagne, ready for a speech. The man’s eyes turns determined, as if he made a huge decision: “Our deal is the movie, for no physical harm on Ava, right? I want to add one more thing to it.”

The person said again, and Arlene looked up to see a light skinned slender girl in a tight leather leopard skin skirt, mesh black top and gladiator sandals. When they broke from the hand shake, Arlene reached for her tote bag and pulled out her history note. Faith thanked her for the book, and they exchanged contact incase something happened with the note. Once Faith left, Arlene took out her locket again and glanced at it for the last time before putting it in her bag.

She caught Andrea's attention in a multicolored floral dress that highlighted her fair complexion. Even Andrea couldn't help but feel intimidated by her beauty. “Yes, well, Mommy just wants to do a good job and provide for us. If I get this job, we can have a bigger house, and you guys can go to the best schools.” “We don’t care about houses or schools,” Luna said, munching on her toast. “We just want you to be happy, Mommy. She gestured for us to enter. The room was grand and gleaming. Everything looked meticulously arranged and impeccably beautiful. My eyes darted around, taking it all in, until they landed on a chair. A man sat there, slumped heavily, and beside him stood a woman who exuded an air of wealth. She was flawless, her appearance screaming money. And then I saw it – the resemblance between us. Her fiery red hair, the shape of her nose, the way her lips curved… my mother. "I have your guest here, Mr. DaCosta," Gracie announced.
