Suddenly, a jolt of pain slices through my midsection and I bend forward in pain. And as if I’m not embarrassed enough, my stomach grumbles, filling the tense silence between us with a loud groan. Oh no.

My heart races slightly as I swallow. I hope Alera is safe. “The voices you heard is probably me mumbling to my stomach. It hasn't seen any food for three days , you see. So it's growling angrily,” I say before chuckling like I am deranged. I stop when I realize he doesn't get my joke and his stoic face doesn't relax even for a fraction. He glares down at me. “If I found out you are lying to me, I'll tear you shreds.”

~Cailly's Pov! I woke up with a throbbing headache and grumbling stomach. Seriously! Haha As I caught the smell of cooking bacon and pancakes makes my stomach growl. Yep, my stomach can growl! *laugh* I tried to stand up but to my dismay, my knees buckles and I fell down face first on the floor. I groaned and tried to stand up again, this time I get a hold on the bedside table and I beamed as I got up perfectly and made a happy dance which I regretted. *frown*

Just a step into the house and I could feel my tummy rumbling, it felt like I was about to puke all over the place--- eating too much can do that to a person. *Grumble* the sound made from my tummy like my whole system flushed out and was ready for excretion, sweats formed on my forehead as the tummy grumbled several times, I thought how embarrassing it will be if Damon saw me like this but cared less when it got so serious.

He smiled stupidly at me as he held onto his stomach in pain. "Who did this to you?" I asked as I walked up to him. "Tell me who did this to you!" "I just tripped." He replied. "I'm not an idiot, Ivory!" "Nothing will happen even if I tell you!" He suddenly exclaimed as he wiped his eyes, and right after he did, the bangs that were covering his eyes were swept to the side, revealing his sharp yellow eyes that were filled with tears. "It's nothing, so please don't do anything. Please just forget about it."

I made an awful sound as I stop throwing up while I cry. I flush the toilet and go to the countertop washing out my mouth. I need to take care of myself, I thought worriedly while I completed washing out my mouth. Leaving Spicy Groove, I barely ate and take care of myself even when my parents kept telling me that I needed to and now, look what was happening to me. Not eating for some time was causing me to throw up back the food I ate that was now starting to worry me. I reach for a napkin from the countertop and gently begin to wipe away the water dripping from my mouth. His voice shook uncontrollably, and his teeth chattered nonstop as he pointed at Clara's belly, which had grown larger than the rest of her body. He scrambled backward several steps. "What on earth is happening to your belly?" The air in the room seemed to freeze solid, and all eyes were locked on Clara's horrific belly.

I froze mid-step, heat rising to my cheeks. Damn it. I was starving. There was no hiding it either. Maddox definitely heard. So embarrassing. “Are you that hungry?” Maddox asked from behind me. I rolled my eyes, refusing to turn around. “I’m not hungry.” As if on cue, my stomach let out the loudest, most embarrassing growl of the century, like it was deliberately trying to expose me. Maddox chuckled low, rubbing his chin like this was all some kind of joke to him. “Your stomach says something entirely different though.”

The only release I got was when Sparkle took charge of our body. The box that had the few sandwiches lay on the ground empty, next to me. My stomach growled from time to time. I've never been that hungry in my entire life, my stomach kept on asking for food, and the gastric acid was already digesting the inner walls of my stomach. Maybe it was time for me lay back, defeated.

The sound repeated itself. Valerie's face turned as red as a tomato because her stomach had been the cause. Kieran put his book down and looked toward the couch. Valerie's stomach continued to growl. She pressed on her belly firmly. The little voice inside her head scolded her stomach, "Why haven't you rumbled when I starved you before? We've only skipped one meal, and you're making it sound like you've been starved for ages. Are you looking for trouble?"
