Her stomach clenched, a shiver sliding down her spine. The forest grew unnaturally quiet. Birds no longer chirped. The wind seemed to have stopped altogether. Her footsteps sounded loud against the dirt, echoing around her. She tried to tell herself it was nothing. Probably a dog, or maybe hikers who had passed earlier. Then she heard it: a low, guttural growl from her left. Her heart jumped, and she froze. The growl came again, closer this time, resonating through the underbrush in a way that made her teeth ache.

Gone the playful and arrogant kind of Raja as he closed the basement door. Days had passed in the dark, suffocating and smelly basement. Tales’ stomach rumble with hunger that grew sharper with each hour. The thirst was even worse; his lips were cracked and dry, his throat feels like a burning desert. Every breath was agony, he's in need of food and water.

"Well, I needed to go relieve myself. I could not find a place in here and could not find a door to the outside so that I could do it in the woods either, so I was going to ask where I could go. That is when they came in here. I told them I belonged to you and they did not believe me. I even told them to ask you and they just laughed at me!" I was getting upset at having to relieve this once again. I was looking at the floor the entire time I said all of this stuff and when I finally looked back at him. He was not even looking at me, but he was looking at the floor as well. It was at that moment that I actually thought I heard a growl coming from his throat again. Was I really hearing that?

The chair creaked as I released my grip, my knuckles aching from the strain. “Are you feeling better now?” I asked, but he didn’t respond. I took a deep breath and stood tall, my shoulders squared and my posture strong. I was about to head back to my people to finish some unfinished work when suddenly my stomach growled loudly, resembling colicky cramps. The pain became unbearable, causing me to quickly rush to the toilet.

She smacked me hard in the chest, then shivered, clutching her hand. “Damn! Why is your skin so tough? I’m not going to relieve myself, I’m just hungry!” The noise returned, this time more insistent. “So humans can growl,” I thought. “My stomach is growling.” “Is there an animal in your stomach?” "No, there isn't! Doesn't your stomach make noise when you're hungry? Put me down! “I have three stomachs and none of them made that noise unless I ate something bad.” “Well, I’m not you,” she huffed.

Each volume of Strange short stories will have 3 medium-sized stories and about 10 short stories. To make it easier to understand and more transparent, this chapter will be like a summary for this and the following volumes. Due to this, there was a novel that was a hit on w******l, titled 'SEX ADDICTED BOYFRIEND' It was a romance novel, where the male lead was only about having sex with his girlfriend, which the girl didn't mind of course. Seeing how their relationship was moving, without him making any attempt to ask her to marry him, the female lead started getting worried. He was very handsome and a lot of girls want to snatch him from her, but luckily, he was really in love with her. The issue was, sex. He just couldn't do without it for a week. A part of her was scared for getting dump after they've had so much sex, so she was trying to hint him into proposing to her.

Lily greeted them with a tired but genuine smile, a mix of exhaustion and relief etched on her face. "How are you holding up, Lily?" Bella inquired, her eyes reflecting genuine concern. Lily, momentarily caught off guard, felt a lump forming in her throat. "Honestly, Bella, I feel like a whale. I'm huge, can't bend properly, and every step feels like a marathon." Bella chuckled, her hand patting Lily's gently. "Oh, sweetheart, it's the hormones talking. You're growing a tiny miracle inside you. I felt my mouth opening up by itself and before I could answer , we both hear a vicious and loud growl. My eyes grow wide , my cheeks flush a hot crimson shade and I close my hanging mouth. His eyes that was filled with fury a few seconds ago , now is staring intently at my stomach. It seems as if he is trying to convince him self that he heard my stomach growl pretty loud , but also having a fight battle while his mind tells him it is in his imagination. “F – food…” I stutter , answering the question to which he asked me before my stomach growled the answer.

A surge. Since then, the episodes have grown worse. Now, standing in the quiet of my kitchen with the late-afternoon sun pouring across the tile, I gripped the edge of the counter until the Formica groaned under my fingers. A thin crack spread like a spiderweb beneath my palm. “No,” I whispered, jerking my hand back. The skin was unmarked, but the counter… the counter told another story. My stomach twisted, not with nausea this time but with dread. I pressed a hand to my swollen belly, five months rounded and firm beneath my shirt. “What are you doing to me, little one?” I murmured.
