I say, giving Ted a tight smile.
“On October 28th, Tony’s Birthday,” Betty answers.
“That is the day after Sophies,” I tell them.
Bill fiddles with his phone and smirks. “Her 18th is on a Saturday, his is Sunday.”
Ted and Betty both chuckle.
“It would be nice if hers was a Friday, his a Saturday. They wouldn’t miss school,” Betty laughs.
“Why on earth would they miss school?” I ask, making them spill over their words a little.
