In slow motion, I swung my arm to the left and pulled the trigger. Mario's right shoulder jerked back as my bullet caught him, but he didn't stop. He kept going, ducking behind Veda like the fucking coward he was and pulling her against him with his good arm as I took aim again.

I stood my ground, holding the book-shield in front of me. BAM. He hit the shield with the force of a truck. The impact sent a shockwave through my arms, but the book didn't break. Instead, it started to suck the ink out of the machine. The silver wires began to dissolve into the pages. The red lights dimmed. "No... the data..." the machine groaned. In seconds, the Bryan-machine was gone. All that was left was a pile of scrap metal and a single, glowing blue microchip on the grass.

My group and I get ready to fight against the massive yellow drill wisp. Back at Shattered Inkopolis. Emperor was looking over the land that he destroyed, Maeka looked at Emperor, holding Solaris’ necklace. Maeka then sees another inkling revived by Emperor, her name was Black Rose. “Planning to lash out at me after what I have done long ago?” said Emperor with a sigh. Black Rose and Maeka were shocked to hear what Emperor said, Black Rose and Maeka didn’t say a word. “Who’s this inkling?” Black Rose asked Maeka. “Emperor, one of Arnold’s inkling characters he created” said Maeka. “Its Inkcanius Maeka” Emperor interjected.

A second filament snaked around my other wrist. A third looped my waist. More wrapped my ankles, pinning me to the spot. In less than a heartbeat, I was trussed up in a web of living script, held spread‑armed in the middle of the carnage while shelves crashed and monsters howled around us. Ink‑characters crawled along the cords binding me: PROPERTY. COMPONENT. FUEL. AUTHOR_CHANNEL.

The ink clings to the quill, its viscosity carefully crafted to prevent dispersal in the water. Turning his attention to the kelp paper in front of him, Bryan observes the faint shimmer on its surface.
