I walked right past them. My eyes didn't flinch. My steps didn't break. I didn't smile. I just walked with my head held high, heart steady. Let them watch. Let them feel the heat of the fire they tried to start. At the end of the aisle, Benjamin stood on the platform, waiting. He wore a black tailored suit, a sharp white shirt beneath. No tie. He was her friend. If Benjamin went with him, he would definitely get to see Natalie. Thus, Benjamin struggled against the nanny holding him back, crying, "Save me, Uncle Calvin. I want my mom..." "Benjamin, I am your dad." Gabriel was enraged when he saw Benjamin calling for help from an outsider. Gabriel moved faster than Calvin's subordinates, pulling Benjamin from the nanny's grasp and holding him tight. The subordinates backed off at this.
