Austin was about to sprint off again and lightly jog the rest of the way home when Benji approached him with a wary look in his eyes and an iPad in his hand. His presence filled the space before he even spoke. “Mrs. Blackthorn,” he said smoothly, his tone refined, charming even. “I hope I’m not intruding. I do intend to come on time when it is meetings like this.” I gestured for him to sit. “Not at all. You have me at a disadvantage, though. I don’t believe we’ve met. And given your scent, I can tell that you are not from here, Alpha.” He smiled, slow and confident, the kind of smile that didn’t quite reach the eyes. “Forgive me. Alpha Lorenzo D’Amaris. But I choose to go by Mr. D’Amaris when it is amongst humans.”

He was Benjamin Smith, who was usually called Benjie. Actually, Benjie didn’t want to stop and ran, but seeing Josephine’s charm accidentally made him stop the car. Benjie glanced at Ian, who looked devastated when he saw this, and a smile appeared on his face. “This little boy will be the reason I can have this girl,” he thought. “Let’s take your mother to the hospital. Alpha Brandt snarls in annoyance at the women, but Freya smacks him on the head, giving him a dirty look. Benji lets out a small snort seeing a big Alpha be brought down by his petite sister. “I think my next project is going to be a warrior book club.” This statement gets all the ladies nodding in agreement. “Benji….” I growl, my irritation already rising. “Get to the fucking point and worry about your book club later.”

Damian worked on his desk while Ben quietly watched a movie on his iPad. “Uncle, I want to go to the toilet!” Benjamin told him “Can you wait, I need to work on this for a couple minutes, then I’ll go with you!” Damian says it while continues to focus on his iMac “It’s okay! I can go by myself,” Benjamin stands, ready to walk out “Okay then!”

Benjamin lowered his gaze and said something that only both of them could understand. Benjamin had saved Aaron before. At that time, Aaron had two gunshot wounds. If he had not encountered Benjamin, Aaron would not have survived. “Does your precious Little Apple still need my protection? You really underestimate your younger sister.” Aaron shook his head and glanced meaningfully in the direction of the stairway. He took out a cigarette from his cigarette pack. “Just look at those discussions and news articles online. Someone is sensationalizing the matter between Summer and Jasper. I’ve already investigated it. The person behind the news is Irvin Hamilton from Universal Movies.”

He smiled excitedly at her. “I am so sorry, Lander and Rachael. He can be a little overbearing. Well, he's Benjamin Myers, my neighbor." She introduced them to one another. "And Benji, this is Lander and Rachael, my in-laws." "Hello," Benji smiled and focused his attention back on his friend. "Now, can we please talk?" “What do you want to talk to me about, Benji?” She asked him, frustrated. “I think I should have some coffee. People who are stressed always drink coffee.” Benji thought out loud.

Jacqueline give me her kind of pep talk and made me laughed again. "Yeah, I can make you feel so much better the second time." "Benji!" both Gemma and Jacqueline told off Benjamin at the same time. "Okay, now that her issue is done, can we talk about me now?" "I guess so, maybe it'll dilute my feelings, I'm getting kind of horny with that porn." We all giggle when Gemma told Benji to take our minds away from the porn. The rest of the afternoon Benji let his feelings out, it was heartbreaking seeing him like that. He's such a kind man, beautiful on the inside and out and I can't believe he's having such a hard time with his love life.
