Novel & Cerita Beowulf New Translation

“Even though you told me to come alone and dare tell me off for having one other person with me, you stand waiting with company of your own?” “I thought you want the kids back.” I wanted to shout at that smart remark, when Beowulf glanced at me and shook his head, silently telling me to be calm. One look at him, and I could see that he was trying to hold back his own rage at this human. “You know exactly what I mean,” he growled. “Well, I can’t be sure exactly who I am facing here. Besides, I know you got some friends looking into me. If you’ve discovered enough about me, you should know that my ‘friends’ are more of… Messengers, I suppose.”

I was not afraid but more of disgusted to see that monster come near me. I kept my feet firmly planted on the floor as the multi-eyed monster glided towards me until he was just a step away from me. A few broken vines and the chains were all that was separating us. The monster saw Grendel through the cloud like thing and let out some voice that was a combination of a hiss and a howl. “Master wants you to leave” Grendel translated for me. “Yeah, I am not too fond of him either. He can step out through the gaps in the chains. I guess my job here is done”

I ask him, wanting to get straight to the point so I can return to my Alpha before he can worry about my absence. Beowulf’s eyes darken at my question, making me feel nervous that he might have come here to cause me harm. “That Alpha failed to protect you from that foolish human that I was paired with, and I came here to make him pay.” His jaw clenches as he tries to contain his rising anger.

Beowulf said angrily. "Hahahaha"Luke laughed and his companions joined him in laughing,he stopped laughing and they stopped too. "Did I hear you say am seeking war instead of peace"he asked."what brought you here?"Beowulf who was already irritated asked. "What brought me here?"Luke smirked. "I believe you know why I am here, why feigning ignorance?" Beowulf scoffed"hmm,I don't know what you are talking about, what's the reason behind your stupid act of interrupting my peace"

After all, his voice sounded so weak, like a candle burning at dawn. They found Beowulf and brought him back, and he was able to see the birth of our child and educate him as he grew up. I dare not even think about such a good thing. I fear that my desire will offend the gods. How can such a lucky thing be mine? I haven't had a lot of good things in my life, have I? But today, luck really happened. My hero Beowulf is coming back. We will always be loyal to each other and belong to each other!

Beowulf nodded and looked at me. "Maybe he's scared of it, I mean he got burned badly by his first wife, surprised he wants to do it again personally," he grins. I eye him with a frown. Beowulf grins showing his fangs. "You've been burned too, shame too you and Nyx's auras mesh-like one like you're made the same, you're both the same yet opposite, it's strange," he shrugs and drinks. I think about it and nod my head. We both are fairy guardians and powerful. I looked at Beowulf in amazement.

“What do you have in mind?” My lips tightened. Even though we were chess pieces in a battle between gods and Fenrir had saved the day, there was something I could do to even the score. Something the wolf god had mentioned earlier drifted to the front of my mind, germinating an idea that made my lips curl into a smile. “That asshole and his pals at the Supernatural Council are going to regret treating us like pawns,” I said. Hours later, Griff and I returned with Lydia and the enforcers to the Living World, where I discovered why Beowulf had rejected Lydia and sacrificed her to Fenrir.

"We mistranslated the core prophecy." Another witch whispered from the back, her voice trembling, "How is that possible?" The elder closed her eyes, drawing a deep, ragged breath before reciting the original text from memory. The melodic, ancient words flowed through the chamber like a eulogy for their past mistakes. When translated with proper context, the final line no longer carried the grim warning they had feared. It did not mean *the child will bring destruction*. Instead, it meant *the child will end the age of destruction*.

I should have made better preparations, should have prepared better and the evidence of my lack of better analysis of the situation appeared before me when a large Beowulf appeared in my path, large and foul smelling with two full rows of jagged teeth that was just as sharp and deadly as the mountain terrain, pure white fur covered it's huge muscular frame, giving it a kind of blend in with the snow save for the piercing blue eyes that gave it away. One Beowulf might have not been a problem, I'd had just about enough left ine to scare or wound it, but then it howled and from the corner of my eye I spotted two more appear from caves, and amidst the snowing, I spotted the dull shimmer of froze
