Falling For My Father's Best Friend

Falling For My Father's Best Friend

"I lived in Berlin for four years during college not the main campus, smaller ones in Potsdam and Leipzig. Leipzig was quiet. Potsdam had this insane library. I spent half my time lost in books and the other half lost on trains." Lukas nodded listening, really listening. "I know." I paused fork halfway to my mouth. "You... know?" He shrugged casual. "I looked you up. After the first day. Wanted to know who I was working with. Saw your CV. Berlin, Potsdam, Leipzig. Good grades. Impressive." I stared at him. Heat crept up my neck not anger, just exposure. He caught it. "I'm sorry if that's weird. I just wanted to know you."

A Marriage of Convenience

A Marriage of Convenience

Either way, she found herself walking alongside him, trusting him completely, no questions asked. Late February in Berlin, sunlight spilled over rows of glass storefronts lining the street. A few pedestrians strolled by, wrapped in dark coats, their pace unhurried. The trees lining the road were still bare, just beginning to show signs of budding. Every so often, a fluffy dog would trot past, or the faint ring of a bicycle bell would chime in the distance. The breeze was light, still laced with winter’s chill, but not biting. Raphael walked beside her, his strides steady, never rushing. Berlin’s streets lacked Paris’s crowded charm but felt more open, freer, calmer. Walking through the city

The Taken Of Lena

The Taken Of Lena

But Lena continued curiously exploring, fully desiring to become a part of Renz's private world, at least for a few moments. Lena had already seen the four libraries of Schloss Wolfenbarger, but Lena thought that Renz's lounge could have been considered a small fifth. There were several tall bookcases, neatly stacked with large volumes and ledgers. Lena briefly scanned the titles, surprised by the names that had been deemed worthy of Renz's private collection. There were several that she knew well with from the hours she stole reading at Sterling Manor, such as Shakespeare and Dante, and illuminated prints of William Blake. There were other names that Lena recognized, but wasn't familiar wit

Guardian of Ruin

Guardian of Ruin

“We start with Berlin.” The next forty-eight hours were a blur of movement—traveling in silence across borders with forged documents, rotating SIM cards, ducking surveillance drones and digital fingerprints. Roman arranged for a safehouse in the outskirts of the German capital: an old, shuttered library above a print shop where the walls still smelled faintly of ink and dust. Eden found solace among the books. Their silence. Their permanence. She stood in the aisle between history and fiction, fingers trailing over cracked spines when Roman found her.

The Secret Whisperer

The Secret Whisperer

Leila walked between the aisles, surrounded by old copper kettles, once fine German porcelain, toy trains, and oak plant stands trying hard not to look bored. One stall caught her eye—a pile of books, mostly battered children’s tales and lonely volumes of the classics not worth much without the rest of the lot. Some books looked interesting, bound in old tooled leather. Then something caught her eye. She spotted a volume in the middle of all that artful chaos. It was a thick, faded book with a tan leather binding. The title, The History and Artifacts of the Ancient Germanic Tribes, was elegantly crafted in gold letters. Leila’s pulse quickened. She was looking for this volume in the library

HIS REGRET (Ex-Husband wants Me Back)

HIS REGRET (Ex-Husband wants Me Back)

The lights of Berlin began to glow as their car moved slowly through streets lined with historic buildings. From the window, Lydia watched rows of classical architecture standing side by side with modern structures, the contrast somehow blending into a quiet harmony. “Berlin is unique,” Andrew’s voice came from the front seat—calm, practiced. “The city was divided for decades. East and West. Even now, you can still feel the traces of it—not just in the buildings, but in the way people live.”

Hi author can we shift the tone a bit, I feel like it’s getting repetitive I don’t think it’s necessary to keep bringing up about David, Natalie and Eli relationship and how it’s weird every chapter. It feels like I’m reading the same thing over and over again just worded differently.

The story is really good but I’m still in chapter 410. So not sure how much will happen in the next 600(and counting) chapters. I hope it’s not prolonged too much unnecessarily. I felt a bit cringe with the plot holes like the change in the name of Chase’s dad, or Daven saying Josh was 5 🥲

Charm of a Cold Bodyguard

he murmured, then moved his legs and caught up with Sharlynn, who had already gone ahead. About a seven-minute walk from Hausvogteiplatz, Sharlynn already saw the crowd ahead. One of the largest flea markets in Berlin, located near the museum building, offered clothes, daily necessities, and artistic items. "Sharlynn, are you sure we'll buy something here?" Richie, walking side by side with Sharlynn, half-whispered as they strolled through each place, displaying their wares in the open space. "Yes, of course," Sharlynn replied, her gaze fixed on the place that specifically sold artistic items, including ceramic statues and vintage-style knick-knacks.

Wolves Of Berlin The Cursed Hybrid

Wolves Of Berlin The Cursed Hybrid

“Library it is, darling! I’ll guard you from Brandon’s lustful pursuit!” I roll my eyes but feel some of the tension drain from my shoulders. “You’re ridiculous, Charlie. Just try to keep up!” We reach East Berlin in record time, Alarica’s steady gallop eating up the kilometers. Soon the Alte Bibliothek stands before us an imposing structure of weathered stone and tall, arched windows, like a forgotten castle fragment embedded in Berlin’s concrete landscape. Sliding off Alarica’s back on wobbly legs, I make my way inside with Charlie trotting faithfully at my side. The library smells of dust, leather, and centuries of accumulated knowledge. Vaulted ceilings soar overhead, shelves stretching

as he fucked her faster, her tits bouncing. “Micca,” Berlin said, his voice sharp, and my heart stopped. He was looking at me, his eyes dark, but he didn’t stop fucking her. He smirked, like he wasn’t scared or ashamed. “You like watching?” he said, his cock still moving in and out. I couldn’t speak. My face was burning, but I didn’t look away. “I didn’t mean to,” I said, my voice trembling. “I was just bringing the books.”

Revenge of the Silver Blood Heiress

Revenge of the Silver Blood Heiress

Get out. My gaze fell on the German book, still lying on the passenger seat. A mad thought, born of desperation and the strange logic of my forgotten self, surfaced. I picked it up. I ran my thumb over the embossed title. Die Geschichte der Ostsee. The History of the Baltic Sea. It felt foolish, like a child clinging to a blanket. But I was a child. I knew nothing.
