Bernese Mountain Dog Names Novels & Stories

I’m her baby. Buck- Sure, that’s it. Duke stays behind as Bär walks toward the waiting lounge. “So, the name?” Duke asks, looking at his mother. Anderson puts his arm around Ariella. “Darlin,” Anderson says, getting her attention. “As much as Zoe, Romeo, and Claire are Dad’s grandkids, so are Bär, Rose and Duke. We did name him after Dad’s wolf.” “Duke,” Ariella takes a deep breath. “Monty is honored, your uncles, and your dad too. I can’t stop you, and I won’t, but I will never call you Finch.”

declared Miriam with a chuckle. "Fine! Be safe. Don't hesitate to call if you run into any problems over in the Misty Mountain pack. However, I don't believe you will." stated Alpha River, ending the mindlink. "Thanks!" "Thanks!" "Thanks!" "Here is the picture and put down in the file that her wolf's name is Amona Reinas. Do you want me to spell it for you?" asked Alpha River. "Hell, yes!" shouted Amanda, looking at her brother in disbelief that someone would name their wolf a crazy name like that.

Eva Fenrir— The Primordial Wolf, Sköll— The Sun Hunter, Hati— The Moon Hunter, Fenris Graymane— Tribal Elder: Keeper of the Lore, Thiess the Sentinel— Heroic Defender, Remnar Monteal—Tragic Werewolf. My index finger paused, looming over the name. Remnar Monteal. Could Monteal mean the same Monteal I know? The names were carved into the deep-mahogany page of a weighted book I had struggled to open initially.

For a dog lover, they were adorable, sitting on the ground, looking like they were smiling while panting and waiting for a treat from their owner. One dog couldn’t stay, though. He walked closer and sat in front of me. I breathed out, recognizing the St. Bernard dog. Colonel barked, probably saying hi to me. “Hi,” I smiled nervously, reaching for him and patting his head. Finn chuckled, scratching his ears. “You thought she’s Lexi?” He shook his head, laughing at the big puppy. “She’s Lexa, her twin sister.” Colonel barked again, probably telling him he was wrong.

Asher’s wolf pounces first, knocking me over and slathering drool all over my face with his enormous tongue. “Be gentle.” Mason chides him for his overenthusiasm but I just giggle like a lunatic. “Blaze. His name is Blaze.” Adira’s voice in my head is filled with awe but I can’t help the snort that escapes at the irony there. “And Aspen’s wolf? What’s his name?” I ask her just as the beast himself knocks his brother out of the way and sticks his cold nose in my neck, eliciting a yelp from me.

Gaia sighed, shaking her head and looking to Ashley for support. “Nope,” she replied, popping the “p” for emphasis, as they continued to listen to their mate’s “ideas”. “--- Persephone, Pep for short! And if it’s a boy he’ll be Cerberus! I always liked that name AND, it’s a cool dog,” the alpha continued, pretending to be blissfully unaware of his surroundings. “We could call the den Hades and since the pack is already the Tartarus Pack it’s only befitting that---”

“Real excited.” By the time Dad hops on, joking and carrying on, I’m just sitting there smiling, shaking my head. These two… and those damn Great Danes like they are their human children. After we finally hang up, I let out a breath. Maverick grinning. “Man… your family is something else. What's the names of your brother dogs again?” “You ain’t lying,” I say. “Names are Thorn and Kane.” He laughs again. “Those are not dog names.”

Leave it to Eathen to skip right over the part I thought would at least cause a break in conversation. “No.” “But Alice is?” “Yes.” Mylo broke from his impassive stature to pinch the bridge of his nose, grumbling about this being a clusterfuck. I had to agree, but they all took that information way more calmly than I expected. “What does a mountain have to do with this?” “Alice’s other mate is Mountain.” “His real name,” Terran threw his head back in dramatic exhaustion, “or I swear to Gerber daisies I’m going to take this moment from you and tell them myself.”

Still, she wondered—Would Rex even accept this new… dog? She looked up at Alexander. “What’s its name?” Seeing the flicker of interest in her eyes, Alexander’s lips curved into a grin. “They called him Jon Snow. But you can rename him. What do you want to call him?” “Snowball,” Serena decided after a pause. The name was absurdly cute for such a powerful animal, but somehow it fit. Snowball was larger and stronger than Rex, almost intimidating, but there was a beauty in its sheer size.

“Hey, honey? Have you seen my tiger?” Ashley’s eyes widened in surprise. “Tyger? Breanna actually told you her first name? I can’t believe she’s letting you call her that in public. She hates that name.” Monte swiped his fingers through his long wet hair, pushing it back on his head. “What are you talking about? I’ve nicknamed her tiger.” She laughed. “You nicknamed her tiger? So, you don't know Tyger is her real name?” It was Monte’s turn to be shocked. “Are you saying Breanna’s name is really tiger? Like the striped animal?”
