Novel & Cerita Best Audio Books For Road Trips

Sophie. Morning. Hope you survived the gala and Carter’s temper. Sending you some links—audio books and podcasts. Not just Pilates, but history, politics, even Austen. You don’t need paper to learn, Amber. There are other ways. The words doubled and slid. I could read, I always could, but when nerves were bad the letters fought me, mocking. I tapped the text-to-speech icon. The phone’s voice was flat, but at least it didn’t laugh when my brain twisted words. Wellness. Pilates basics. U.S. history. Austen. Relief spread through me so fast I almost laughed.

Plainly, the humming of the engine or a rumble when the tires hit the gravelly road and the alarm when the car turned left or right or passed its speed limit. I groaned. “Okay. Guys, this is not the trip that I was expecting, and so far the most boring I’ve ever had. I should have brought a book with me if you two would just keep your mouth shut throughout the ride.” Still scowling, I slid the window open—the hot air rushed in. “Anyone need a cold drink? It’s burning hot!” It was appealing, but they knew it was a lie because there were no cold drinks, and I was just craving for one.

WINTER I hit the road like I’m on a mission from the universe...just me, my dusty Audi, and a playlist full of songs I’m too stressed to sing along to. She—yes, I’ve named the car “she”—isn’t moving as fast as I’d like, but we’re moving. That’s what matters. An hour in, I feel confident. Three hours in, I feel hungry. By the fifth hour, I’ve officially learned a valuable life lesson:

The Lumineers. This whole album is perfect for road trips." He adjusted the volume slightly. "Though if you want to DJ, my phone's in the center console. Spotify's already open." I liked that he offered to let me control the soundtrack if I wanted. I left it alone. The song was good, and watching the city give way to suburbs and then to open road felt right with this kind of music playing. "So are you going to tell me where we're going?" I asked after a few minutes. "Or is this another elaborate surprise situation?"

"Alright, entertainment for the car ride. What do we need?" "Music!" Cole exclaimed. "Our favorite songs." "Games like I Spy," Ethan added. Kai nodded. "I'll make a playlist. And audiobooks or podcasts for when they get restless." Travel - playlist, games, audiobooks. We also discussed logistics: booking confirmations, maps, emergency contacts. Kai offered to handle the car rental—a spacious SUV for all our gear. "Passports? No, it's domestic," I muttered, crossing it off. "ID cards, just in case," Kai said.

After travelling continuously for almost two hours, Their surroundings, finally became quiet. They choose to travel the roads that hasn't been use too much before the apocalypse began as this roads as almost deserted so surely, most of the people who were escaping the apocalypse would not take this road as when they panic, they would forget that it's safer to travel in a deserted road because there would be not much obstacle in the road like overturn cars or cars that carelessly park on the road. Zhi Yin close his eyes as he concentrate to hear the surroundings. Only the sound of wind blowing in his ears and the cars moving along the road could be heard.

She sat down behind the bus driver as the doors closed behind her. Ellie pulled out the phone her mom had given her in the car before they had left and turned it on. She scrolled through the apps, noticing a notification indicating she had 3 new text messages. She ignored the notifications and opened the audiobook application. Her finger scrolled through the books loaded on the phone and the books she could d******d. She pulled out the headphones that came with the phone, plugged them in, and scrolled through the preloaded classics on the app. Tears came to her eyes as she saw Pride and Prejudice. She hit play, settled her head against the glass window, closed her eyes, and listen to the soo

The hour long trip to Skye Manor passed in relative silence, the only conversation in the car was between Aiden and Vincent and mostly revolved around business, Elisa was uncharacteristically silent, staring out the window with a faraway expression. I leaned back against the headrest, nausea playing in my stomach from motion sickness and I spent the trip with my eyes closed, praying I wouldn't haul all over the pristine leather seats. To distract myself, I listened to an audiobook on my phone and nibbled on some saltine crackers, ignoring the look of disapproval on Aiden's face at eating in the car.

I should arrive after two in the morning. I normally would drive in silence, but with this length of trip I needed something to drown out my thoughts. I would just dwell on what Murphey said and the last two months. I saw an advertisement once for a true crime podcast. That seemed to be up my alley. I already saved it in my phone and just never had a chance to listen to it. There were over three hundred episodes. That would keep me company for the duration of the trip.

We packed in our bags and we began the trip and guess what my mom suggested I stay at the back seat with Davis so he does not feel lonely, thanks a lot mom for sending me straight to hell. We started the trip and since I was already sent to hell, I decided to put my air pods and listen to music and maybe catch a little sleep before we get there. I brought out my phone and went straight to Ed Sheeran’s playlist, yep that dude knows how to sing to a lady.
