Where’d they go? I remembered how it ended in the novel, but now everything was different and those girls - the girls from Noir Village weren’t even mentioned in Elaine’s novel. They were girls Elaine didn’t even know were missing, so... how could she find them? It was obvious... everything Elaine had discovered - it was part of Azrael’s plans. Parts that he allowed her to see, parts that would help her have Callisto at her feet and that pissed me off. My blood was practically boiling when I finally returned to the carriage.

Elizabeth insisted on going out after the meal was done, she was very excited about what she found in the book and it’s contents. She ran to the chair and locked the book again and reached to place it on the top shelf but, Mr. Wilde arrived atop the stairs in that exact moment.

**Elizabeth's POV** * While I was making mushroom soup, I realized that I had lost my notebook. I don't know when it was lost. I had written a lot of plant-related content in my notebook. I even wrote out the contents of the world geography book from my memory. It meant a lot to me. I searched along the route I walked during the day and could not find it until I reached High Altar. However, I saw a very large group of people gathered at High Altar, who seemed to be in a meeting. And Carolina's brother, Caleb, was standing in the middle of High Altar, holding something in his hand.

Mrs Bianca said coldly. I watched as Elizabeth placed a soft palm on her sister’s arm, in a bid to calm her down. I honestly hoped that worked. I was so scared of what they might do to me, and I didn’t want anymore issues. I wanted some sort of eace, and nothing more, but I found that I couldn’t have that too, and that scared me even more than I thought was possible. “What my sister is saying,” Elizabeth said calmly. “...is that we saw on the news that my niece was missing. It was a bit confusing at the time, but we want to see our daughter now,” she explained.

FLASHBACK Elizabeth's body had disappeared. The divers had searched for her body everywhere but they couldn't retrieve the body. She was later declared dead because they didn't find her body but only found her pendent which was given to her by her mother Verona. VERONA POV My life became completely dark as I lived in total darkness. I was shattered because I had lost my daughter my only source of joy. Staying in this house brought back memories that made my heart ache with so much pain.
