Best English Novel Novels & Stories

I've never read any of them. It was only after he spoke that I realize he was behind me. I thought he was still sitting on the bed. I run my hands over the book, my eyes catching the titles, A fresh Start, For Mbatha and Rebecca, Agony in get voice, Felicia, The betrayal, for better for worse, Evbu my love... I pulled Evbu, my love out. It's actually my best pacesetter novel. I flipped through the pages and sniffed it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3 hours late I stretch my arms over my head and groan. I started with English. I didn't realize how behind I am with my reading. I almost panicked when I saw this year's novel. It's 1984 by George Orwell, who thought this would be a good idea. On a normal day I would have enjoyed it but right now I'm on a deadline to complete three assignments based on the book.

She heard Irene scream in excitement, "what the hell are you guys doing?" "Oh, oh," Tasha and Irene turned to face her, "This is so good, Elle!" Irene ran to her and hugged her, "This is awesome!" "what are you talking about?" She frowned. "The book, who said you can't write romance? This book is so good! I can't even explain it in words," Irene squealed. "You liked it?" Elle smiled at her. "I loved it!" "I didn't know you could write a romance novel," Tasha blinked in surprise. "Dude, it's like you've poured your heart out," Tasha couldn't believe her eyes.

“Favorite novelist?” “Jane Austen. Pride and Prejudice, before you ask.” “By God, boy!” he exclaimed in glee and clapped his hands. “We have a keeper with this one!” He turned to me again. “Second favorite?” I chewed my lip for a second. “Dickens or Louisa May Alcott. It’s tough, but Alcott might just win out. Her ability to create a whole cast of compelling, lovable characters – not just one or two – is something I’ve yet to find in another writer.”

You can say I'm very intelligent because I don't leave any book unread including novels. That's one of the reasons I'm fluent in the most popular languages in the world. Including the African languages. Being a con artist, reading is what makes me the best. I checked the name on the novel, it was; ”Don't Seduce The Demi—god” The name was catchy so I opened it to read and truth be told I was captivated. Two hours later, I decided to drop the novel and check on my troublesome student. I was surprised when I met her sleeping like a pig on her bed. Her head bent over the bed, almost touching the floor, whilst the rest of her body was on the bed.

Thank you so much for reading this novel to the end. This is my first completed English novel, and I am very happy to put it on GoodNovel and received such a positive response. Sorry if there are some cultures, city names, and also the use of inappropriate words because the original novel is actually from Bahasa Indonesia. If there are criticisms and suggestions, I really appreciate them because they are good for improving my writing in the future. So, feel free to leave your comments, reviews, criticisms. I would be very grateful for that.

It suddenly felt so hard to go for an interview. I have never gone for one before. What if they ask me to speak other languages? Hmm…if they ask for that, I'd just speak English with a British accent. That was all I knew. I took my resume and went through it the third time. My talent was reading and my best book is 'Wrath of the Nation' by Adam Smith. It was my best book but I had no idea what was written in it. I didn't even have the book, neither have I seen it before.

he said; "why don't you write one?" "I am too fond of reading books to care to write them, Mr. Erskine. I should like to write a novel certainly, a novel that would be as lovely as a Persian carpet and as unreal. But there is no literary public in England for anything except newspapers, primers, and encyclopaedias. Of all people in the world the English have the least sense of the beauty of literature."

I will gladly appreciate it so I will know which of my book is best for the Goodnovel's 2020 contest. Thank you for reading the first chapter of Please be mine.

Of course, I also have other books. For some reason, 'Endless Poison Love' is my favorite romance novel because I can feel the Author's feelings being poured into it. Sure, the plot, characters, scenes, words, and lessons are good, but it's the Author's way of writing that has got me hooked. She's a genius.
